Underdog Rescue needs our help.
While it's a hopefully a joyous time for humans, it's often a miserable time to be a homeless dog. During holidays, the Minneapolis Animal Control has been swamped with many unwanted dogs and Underdog has been called upon to save them. However, we have more dogs needing homes than foster homes needing dogs. Animal Controls are short-staffed over each holiday and have a policy of euthanizing as many anumals as they can as a result. Since before Thanksgiving 6-eight week old puppies, 4-four month old puppies and 7 young adult dogs got euthanized.

In order to prevent more precious lives lost, please open up your heart and home even for a short period to foster these homeless dogs. Underdog is in dire need of emergency foster homes between the dates of 12/19 to 1/19. If you or anyone you know would be able to provide emergency foster care, even if it's only for 1 week at a time, or even for the few days over the Christmas or New Year Holiday, please contact us immediately. www.underdogrescuemn.com 952-929-0777.
