Yikes, I have been tagged by my pals Sox, Checkers, and Minister!

Here are the rules of this Dogster game of "tag" in case you've never gotten a chance to play. When you are tagged, you post 7 random facts about yourself, compose a "new DIARY entry" along with the rules and put them in your own DIARY. Then you pick 7 furs (kitties or doggies) to tag but make sure you tell them... a simple p-mail will do fine, or a rosette to tell them, but you must let them know that they have been tagged. Post their names also in your DIARY.

Here are 7 facts about myself:
1. I participated in Paws for Pace (first annual 1 mile dog walk) to raise money for a non-profit school who helps children with emotional disturbance and autism.

2. My best furiend, Romeo walked with me (shown in the last photo on my page). He is usually very camera shy.

3. I have 3 little foster kittens who love to play with my tail.

4. I LOVE treats of any kind (dog, people or cat, it doesn't matter).

5. I love to ride around in Momma's new car.

6. I love walks of any kind as long as their not too long. Beaches are my favorite, even though we don't have one anywhere near here.

7. Mom and Dad wan tot take me camping this fall if they can get a sitter for the kittens and Big Lex.

Since I don't have that many furiends that I haven't tagger or haven't been tagged in the last 2 days, I am going to stick with 7.

1. Bree Berry -- too cute for words and a smartie.
2. Blue -- 4-H obedience camp and super nice.
3. Jax -- little wolf, with a sense of humor as crazy as mine.
4. Trixie Mae -- very artistic and friendly.
5. Bella -- her name fits her as she is beautiful and smart.
6. Precious -- a new friend who has very good taste in football teams.
7. Sassy -- a new friend in my Steeler's group, also a cutie!

Have fun!!!!

Ranger Gone Wild

Pass the Pepto. . .

Last night I partied hard. With the kitten force to protect me and chase Lexi away, I went a little wild last night. You see, Mom and Dad have been pretty busy lately. Last night when Dad came home he brought Subway for dinner. He had an extra sandwich. Mmmm. . . it was meatball my favorite. He left it downstairs on the table. Mom thought he put it away, Dad thought she put it away. Do you see where my dilemma begins?

Well, they fell asleep pretty early, and with Lex all tied up by the kittens (literally - hehehe) I decided it was time to treat myself for a change. Normally I would never do such a thing, but those meatballs were calling to me. Besides, I did not want it to go to waste.

To make a long, albeit it delicious story short, when my parents got up all they found was a happy looking me passed out on the couch, and downstairs remnants of the foot long wrapper, along with about 4 inches of bun and a tiny "accident" near by. Oops!

Guess I should go to the dog park and run a little of last night off.

Peace

We added some new photos today. There is one of the 4 little foster kittens: Gena, Gizmo, Gandolf, and Georgia. There is also one of Lexi aka Kung-Fu Kitty. Don't let that sweet innocent look fool you! The last picture is me last Thanksgiving. Good times! I know we aren't supposed to get much turkey, but a pooch can dream can't he?

Yea! I finally got a cool tune for my page! Anypup that wants to put music I found a site -- http://www.songarea.com/ There are thousands of music codes.

I am also KING because Mom and Dad are now the proud foster parents of 4 little black kittens. They are my brigade of fighting kittens and will help me win my battle over the devious Kung-Fu Kat, Lexi.

Yes, it is good to be king!

Peace.

Well, today I talked Mom into helping me add a little flair to my page. My friend Rocco helped me find a really cool background of falling snow because I LOVE to roll in the snow. I am a snow dog ya know!

Mom was on a mission to find me free music. She put on some sappy sweet song I never heard, but it will do for now. I wanted to get something COOL, but since I don't have a credit card, and she would not let me use hers I am stuck with this free stuff until she finds something better. Oh well.

Here are the rules of the game! (copy and paste so you don't have to retype)

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their Diary the rules & their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your Diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!

1 I loved to have all my pretty fur shaved in the summer.
2 I am about to have four new foster kittens.
3 I love rides in the car, especially with Mom.
4 My bestest trick is to sit calmly (no matter how excited I am) when someone says "Show your manners".
5 I have seasonal allergies -- YUCK.
6 I enjoy a good roll in the snow. I make "Eskie Angels".
7 Mom and Dad adopted me from Ohio. They love me very much!

The seven pups I've chosen are:

Meadow 34115
TJ 379486
Lucky 137046
Walter 607741
Bear 558242
Kiko 595409
Kiera 590589

Thanks for the tag Checkers.

I hope all pups will play with me!

Dog Tails

I had an amazing adventure last night. You see, the kitty, Lexi, has been secretly taking Kung Fu. He sneaks out of the house at night and robs Twinkie trucks (that is why he is so big and fat when all he gets to eat is measured portions of weight control cat food). Well, he was showing off his moves to me in the living room while Dad was cooking dinner in the kitchen and Mom was upstairs.

I tried to bark and tell them to come in maybe catch him in the act. Since I don't bark too often I thought for sure they would come running, but I guess both had their hands full. My alerting the people on him made him furious! He used his "kitty-cat-claw-clutch" maneuver and did a series of cartwheeling kicks right over my head. Spiraling over me his razor sharpened claw slashed my right front shoulder.

With the allergies that is an especially tender area for me so I let out an awful groan. Mommy came running downstairs, but all she saw was a trail of blood and a kitty trying desperately to hide. When she and Dad found me I was hiding in the bathroom.

They think I was licking and biting my itchy allergy skin, but the truth is that it was really Kitty Kung Fu! Later that night, before the nightly Hostess-holdup, he warned me there would be worse if I ever say anything.

Boy, he's really got the people fooled. They think he is just this really cute, big, fat cat who is all lazy and innocent, and doesn't go outside. I know the truth! Please don't tell, I fear for my curly little tail!

Peace,
-Ranger

PS. Mommy is a little warped in her sense of humor if you can't tell.

Oh what a sad time of year. Mommy has gone back to work and is leaving me home all alone. Romeo is still visiting and of course he likes my hobby of laying around and staring at something. Sometimes we even so it together for hours on end.

When he goes home tomorrow it will be me and that thing they call a "kitty", but I have seen cats and I am pretty sure it is a mean walrus with legs.

The medicine has been working on my allergies, but I still have a cough and I may have to go back to that vet person again. Well, I have lots of things to stare at before dinner and my walk.

Peace,

Back to Normal

Things are finally back to normal around. We had some bad storms here the other day and since Mommy was home she just cuddled and pet me until they we over. But then we lost power and then phone for 2 days so I got a lot of Mommy time while she waited in the house to make sure when the electricity came on it did not surge or have any problems.

Romeo is still visiting and he really likes to cuddle up to Mom. I am not sure how I feel that he sleeps in their bed. I am not rude and never feel comfortable staying up for more than a half-hour. The cat does not like to be displaced either.

I have not talked much about the cat (at least that is what I think he is). Well, this other animal, who lived in the house before I did is a big gray blob who weighs more than I do, sleeps on my Mom's head, and occasionally slaps me for no reason is called Alexi. We get along OK, but I wish he'd quit eating my food.

Glad to be Back.

Peace,
-Ranger

Bad thunder storms today have me on edge. I cuddled in bed with Mommy all morning until they stopped. I sense more storms on the way. Yikes!

I finally heard from the vet and all of those tests she ran came back negative. I am in good shape and it must just be allergies. Maybe I can convince Mom I am allergic to the cat, then I will not have to share the attention (Heh heh). I have been so good taking my pills that I get lots of extra praise and treats. At my vet appointment I found out I lost 2 pounds, so no need to watch my figure right now anyway!

One good thing is my fur-cousin Romeo (he lives with my grandparents) is coming over soon to spend a few days with us while his parents go to Boston. He can be a little spoiled but he sure eats yummy wet food and I love to those leftovers. Hey I'm not picky.

Well, better go clean my room for the house guests, unless that thunder gets loud again, then I will just hide or look at Mom in desperation.

Peace
-Ranger
