Giving Love (dog hugs), Recently she learned how to pull herself up a flight of stairs on just her front legs, but I wouldn't really call it a "trick"

Arrival Story:
Christmas Eve of 1999 we had several friends over for dinner. I needed some last minute items from the store and ran out to pick them up. When I got to the store there was the cutest little puppy. All of the brother and sister pups had been adopted and Rajah was all alone on Christmas. I scooped her up and brought her home. Needless to say, my roommate was a little concerned when I arrived home and had forgotten all about the groceries. Since the store was closed, we had Hot Dogs for dinner that year!

Bio:
Rajah was playing outside with her sister, Divita, on Thanksgiving last year and slipped on a patch of ice. She smacked her spine against a landscape light and became instantly paralyzed. It was the scariest night of my life. I spent the ENTIRE holiday weekend at the emergency clinic. The doctors said she would never move again and that ending her life was the only viable option. Once again, I scooped my Rajah up and brought her right home. My roommate quit his job to provide her with 24 hour care (I know, the family says we are nutso) and take her to her PT/Hydrotherapy Appointments and acupuncture. TLC makes a difference. Rajah took her first steps alone just 6 weeks ago. Rajah is a SUPER GIRL! WE LOVE RAJAH!! UPDATE: Rajah started walking on Christmas Day 2004! What a miracle to have her "back to normal". Then, on February 1 our sweet baby Rajah passed away. She was only 5 years old! We will NEVER FORGET our Rajah...I miss her so much. I will write more when I can stop crying.
