Mom's Back

Mom came home tonight from her
trip to Durham,NC she was only
gone for an overnight stay,
but it seemed like forever
since I saw her. So glad she
is back with me now though, she
is tired cause yesterday she was up
at 4am to leave for her trip and
didn't get to her hotel last night
till 11pm...whoa!!! that is a 20hr
work day, they wanted to get the test
that they were doing done by the
next day, she still had to go back
in the morning though. But it all
went well she says...I'm just glad
she is back and off from work tomorrow
for Veterans Day.

Mom was bummed too, cause our pal Ella
lives in NC, but she was a 2 hour drive
from Mom, hoping next time that Mom will
have more time out there so there might
be a visit with Ella and her Momma!!!
Paws crossed for that..

Night pals Mom is going to play with me
for a little while,

Dog of the Day!!!

OMD!!! Pups!!

Mom took a day off yesterday and half of Saturday, and today she get's back on here and see's gifts from:

Redford, Cooper and the Gang,
Sprocket,
Tater Tots

And thinks whoa, what's going on here...and I'm Dog of the Day!
First time Ever!!
So exciting!! Thanks Dogster for picking me...What a way to start
off my week!!

Mom will be on Travel for work starting tomorrow, she is going to NC for 2 days, so we will bark at you when she get's back. Happy Barkdays and Gotcha Days to all pals!!

a new friend

Wanted to tell you about my
new friend...
One of my pals that lives
next door is Douglas, he is
a rescue Koonhound, 3yrs old
and I like him, we run up and
down the fence togther, he helps
keep me young!! He has this howl
for a bark and when I hear that
I go a running, cause I know
there is something worth while
out there...Mom doesn't like it
but tough...Anyway, his Mom loves
me too, always comes over and gives
me pets and kisses!! She comes over
last weekend to tell Mom and Dad
that she is rescuing another Koonhound
well I was exxcited cause I thought maybe
a girl, cause we have Douglas and on the
other side of me is my cousin Reggie who is
also part hound dog...anyway it was another
boy, 3yrs old named Sherman and his Mom says
he is a big boy....pfft what does that mean
Well he came Sunday for a test visit and he
is about 90-95lbs Mom said, big floppy ears
well I was going nuts in the yard, see I pee
on Douglas all the time, I know that's not nice
of me, but he just stands there...And his Mom
told the rescue lady all about me, that I'm
King of DiMarco Drive and Biscuit on the other
side of Douglas is the Queen. Mom brought me inside
so they could have there piece in the yard. So on Tuesday
Mom saw all of them outside and went running out
there, Douglas's Mom said he stayed and never left on
Sunday, so I went to meet him and we got along great.
She thinks that he might have been abused, doesn't do
steps, has issues with his food, and a few other things.
But him and Douglas are like best buds all ready and
we are just so glad to have a new pal on Dimarco Drive!!

home and told me the
good news....

today!! It took her long enough

oh boy!!!
Mom get's on my page this
morning and it looks kinda
weird...she is looking and
looking, she knows what it
is now, all my pictures are
different, the borders are all
gone. Well guess what my Dogster
Plus ran out!!! MOM!!!! What is
up with that?? So she goes to
here email, what ever that
is, and there it is. The notice
and bam they just shut it right
off! So Mom will have to call
them today and get that put
back on my page RIGHT AWAY!!

But anyway did you see my background
wall paper on my page...It's me in
my Halloween costume...A SQUIRREL!!
BOL...Mom was so excited when she
saw it this morning!!! As always

Lost Pup

hey pals...Mom has a story to share with you, I of course was not with them this weekend so I missed the whole thing as it went down, but this is what Mom told me...

They were camping this weekend
and last night (Sat) they were sitting
at there site, and in strolls this pup
it was late around 11pm, and no tags
so Mom and Dad took her and walked
around for a little bit, NOTHING...
so they went back to the site, took her
in and called the office, no one reported
her missing, now it's 12am time for bed
Poor pup was scared and crying, but Mom
comforted her and loved her. The pup went
to sleep in my snuggle ball that they leave
in the camper. Mom said she was so good all night
she got up in the morning and hopped in bed with
her...So around 8:30am Mom and pup went out to
find her owners, it took awhile, knocked on quite
a few doors...again Nothing! So we got some food from
another friend and went to head back to there site.
And then it happened her owners were coming toward Mom
and the pup and they scooped her up, and said Thank you
so much for taking care of her. And Mom kissed Trinket
goodbye....

Now Mom wasn't sure if they knew she
was gone all night or not, they didn't say
but Mom told them to keep a closer eye on her
and to put tags on the collar.

Mom also said that I might have had a fursis today
if owners were not found!!!

A happy ending!!

Weekend with Pawrents

So Mom and Dad said that
they weren't going to take
me camping anymore, cause of
my last episode with the heat
but since it's been so cool out
and they miss and love me so
much, I went with them. And I
will have to say, it wasn't so
bad..cause on Saturday we went to
this place called Smithville and
they had over 100 vendors there and
all these little shops that Mom loves
and tons of doggies that I greeted,but
will have to say it was very crowded and
Mom was worried at some point that some
one might step on me...but the best part of
that day was the treats they bought me
OMD!! My own pizza and 3 cannolis..homemade
for us dogs!! I was standing up on hind legs
looking at all the treats.
It was a nice family outing and
I slept the whole way back to the camper, I
was pooped!!

Head and truck window...

Well I just wanted to tell you
all a little story of what
happened to me yesterday...

Went with Mom and Dad
to grampy's house to watch
the Phillies.

But, before we got started
on the game, Mom and Dad
went to fill the truck up
with wood for camping.
So I went around in the
truck with Mom.

After they were finished
me and Mom drove back around
to Grampy's and I was in
the front seat with the window
down,

Well Mom parks and I still
have my head out the window
and Mom starts to roll up
the windows...and you guessed
it my HEAD got stuck and it lifted
me off the seat, Dad saw the whole
thing yelled to Mom, Mom then screamed
and saw what she was doing to me
and quickly rolled the window down,
Dad came running over and Mom was
shaking so bad, cause she thought
that she killed me!! BOL

I'm fine and back to my normal
self...I hope Mom and Dad's next car
has manual windows and not electric!

BOL!!!!
