Apples, carrots, anything a human drops on the floor.
Favorite Walk:
Around the neighborhood, especially when walking by that spot where we saw a Cat one time (she looked every time after that, but never saw the Cat again).
Best Tricks:
Shaking hands (either paw!), being incredibly cute, eating things she's not supposed to.
Arrival Story:
My father came home from work one day saying, "I saw the cutest little Lab puppy today...". One of his co-workers had adopted Chelsea's litter-mate, Shiloh. Of course, being 12, I begged and pleaded, "Dad, can I have a dog, PLEASE!!!" until finally he caved. She was so tiny when we got her; I carried her all over the place in my arms. (That stage, of course, didn't last long!)
Bio:
Chelsea died on September 22, 2000. She went into kidney failure, and lasted about three weeks while we did everything possible for her. But finally we could see that she wasn't the same happy puppy we had always known, and knew it was time. She went out with her tail wagging, giving me kisses. I'll miss her forever.
