Likes: Cheese, toys, walks.
Pet-Peeves: Wind shield wipers, lightening, Thunder, other dogs.
Favorite Toy: Stuffed squeeky squirrel
Favorite Food: He has to eat special food for urinary stones
Favorite Walk: The Beach
Best Tricks: Bang! (falls over dead), Sit, speak, down (lays down and stays), and dance (does the usual poodle circle dance)
Arrival Story: I wanted a long haired black and white female chihuahua. My friend told me to check out this lady's ad in the newspaper. He was a male silver toy poodle, chihuahua (Mom looked like Taco Bell dog) Mix!! And he fit in one hand!! There was no telling if he would have long/short hair. Gray/Balck fur. Up/down ears. Personality wise- I think he is more chihuahua, but he has that totaly perfect, adorable poodle nose!
Bio: He started out very brave and cool and well behaved. He has become a skittish, mean, crotchety old man! I used to to take him to the dog beaches and parks, but he has gotten so mean with every year. Poor doggie.
Enigma left us May 24, 2009. He had been having breathing problems from his heart problems, but he was never a sick doggie. He jut went to sleep one night and did not wake up. We all miss him so much. He was 10 years-old.
Enigma intoduces himself:
I am Enigma!
Your name and how you got it :
Mama always liked cool sounding words as names. She wanted to name me Innuendo- from a Queen song. But after 2 or 3 days, she came to the conclusion that Innuendo was a girl's name. So I got Enigma- partially from the musical group and partially from the tounge in cheek description of my unusual breed. Since Dogster, I have found others like me though! Not many.
Your favorite food/treat:
Cheese is #1 and peanut better is #2. After that, I will eat whatever mama has. Then sometimes I will have a cat treat or 2. I am not really a big eater.
Your favorite thing(s) to do:
Play fetch!!! I love it! But then I make mama come after me fur the toy, and I play growl and play bite. I am gentle and wag my tail, but I make a ton of noise.
I love to boof all the time. I think I am a pretty good guard dog, but mama just tells me to be quiet. I am very unappreciated!
How you found your furever home :
Mama's friend found me in a newspaper. I was the last of my litter left. We were an accidental breeding between a lady's poodle and chihuahua.
Mama wanted a chihuahua or chihuahua mix. She thought that maybe if I were a mix, I would not have so many problems that purebred doggies have. BOL!!!! SURPRISE!! I have them all and more!
Anything odd or unusual about yourself :
I make all kinds of weird noises.
I often bury my pellets in the fluffy rug before eating them.
I still growl at daddy and run to my foodbowl everytime he comes near it. And I still bark at him when he comes home. (After over 6 years).
I would be happiest if Mama and I were somehow physically joined like Siamese twins, so she could never be far. I am a very very needy 1-person dog.
When I am on a walk, I think I can beat up ANY doggie of any size, and I tell them so.
I have always had kitties as playmates and love them, except fur my current kitty that I call MeanKittyLancelot, because he is too rough with me.
Thunder and lightening scare me so much, I should really be tranquilized fur it (but can't because I sometimes have seizures)
Wags to meet you all

The Last Forum I Posted In: I put THAT in my mouth???
Nima left us for the bridge last Sunday. We miss him terribly, including his brother kitty, Lancelot, who talk about it in his diary.
Nima was 10 years-old, and I cannot believe yet that he is not coming back.
The lovely angel doggie, Greta, has tagged me to bark 7 things about myself.
Here we go:
1) I am getting canned food for the first time in my life now! I never used to touch it, but now I see the cats get it and so I want it too.
2) It is good that I am eating the canned food, because I need to keep my weight up. I am starting to lose a lil bit, and the doctor said that is the first sign of bad things to come concerning my heart problem.
3) BUT I AM DOING GREAT! :0) I feel great! I boof! I play! I run!
4) And I growl at daddy. BOL! I always have and always will. I came first, darn it! If he gets close to my food or to mama when she is sleeping, I growl VERY loud and scary and run after him.
5) My neighbor is a Yorkie named Ozzie who barks a lot. And when he is out and barking, that is the only time I am allowed to bark back for a little bit. Then I get taken inside. It is so exciting!
6) I am a well traveled doggie. I have driven accross the U.S. twice! And I have had long visits in TX and CO. I lived in CA and MD. And now I live in Spain.
7) When I don't get brushed a lot, my fur turns into something like dreads. It is wirey and long because of the poodle part, but it is straighter because of the Chihuahua.
(4) I LOVE my blue blankie that is soft that I have had from when I first came home (it was my mom's brother's baby blanket-BOL).
(5) I LOVE snoozing on the fuzzy rug in the livingroom, because it is cozy and I can bury lil food pellets in it.
(6) I LOVE boofing at every lil sound I hear (dog bark, people walking by, neighbors, door opening, door bell, when the kitties are in the catbox, etc.) and sometimes at nothing at all.
