Arrival Story:
I fell in love with the breed after watching dog shows and researching Griffins... their size personality and temperment were ideal for New York City and traveling back and forth to our country house. He is the best behaved, most well-adjusted and sweetest dog you can imagine. I've had other dogs and everyone loves theirs, of course, but the Brussells are a special breed...

Lamonte's portrait was painted by the extraordinary painter, Scott Lifshutz (http://www.scottlifshutz.com) and exhibited along with photographs by well-known dog photographer Valerie Shaff (http://www.valerieshaff.com) who also phtographed Lamonte. The first show of ORANGE GALLERY in Tuxedo Park, New York, just an hour outside of New York City) was called BEST IN SHOW featured about 30 works by Shaff and 8 by Lifshutz.

Lamonte is also in RADAR magazines October 2007 issue in the OVERRATED issue (see last pic) A sidebar with the OVERRATED HALL OF FAME has a photo of Lamonte with the entry "highly portable dogs"... this may seem to be a negative but honestly, he can't read and publicity is publicity. The shot was taken by Mr. Lifshutz as a study for Lamonte's portait and it captures him and the breed beatutifully. Lamonte maes regular visits to the offices of RADAR and enjoys the attention 24/7.
