Birthday: April 8th 2007 Arrival Story: A neighbor of mine had a litter of weim puppies and I went to see them because I owned 2 weimaranars, I quickly noticed that this particular pup was very sick, as it turned out, she was impacted with worms and couldn't stand, she would drop to her rear. The breeder (if you want to call him that) told me that he was fixing to shoot her, I asked him if I could take her home for a couple of days, I started out by worming her, and feeding her canned pumpkin with a little mineral oil, and nutri-cal, after a couple of days, she could stand and it was then that I noticed a problem with her left leg. I took her to a local small town vet. who diagnosed her with arthritis, and began treating her for that, after 2 weeks it was not getting any better (only worse) I had no idea what to do, so Mary_Faith and I started praying for direction, with-in minutes answers started flowing, I was told by a Higher Power to contact www.heartlandweimrescue.com They offered to pick her up and take her to K.C, Mo. to be seen by a vet. in the meantime I had also contacted http://www.pawsoftulsa.org/ and a wonderful lady named Mea contacted and offered to help us. Mary_Faith was seen by her vet. and told me that she had 2 choices. (1) go through a series of several surgeries (2) amputation The latter was chosen simply because I didn't want her to have a life of living in a crate, and going through one surgery after another. Her leg was amputated and she is home with us now, I bought her a toddler bed which sits low to the floor, and it is sitting beside my recliner in the living room (of course). While all of this was going on, I took the other pups, and weimrescue has taken all of them to K.C and they have all been adopted out. She gets her nick name because she just absolutely runs this house and terrorizes the cats and my toes. Bio: 2/20/08

on MySpace which is very criticle of my actions pertaining to Mary_Faith...yes, I did forward an e-mail request from PAWSof tulsa requesting donations to be made to PAWS, but never did I request any money for me! I am giving this link for everybody to see how Vindictive this lady is because I MADE THE DECISION THAT GOD INSTRUCTED ME TO MAKE!
