Well pups, not much happening in my life lately. It's been borrrrring. I guess that's ok though, but I just thought I'd check in and let everypup know how borrrring my life has been. About the most exciting thing that happened this week is Hartford, Abby and me had to get a sponge bath. It rained all day on Wednesday and we played out in the mud some and had mud from tip of our tails to the top of our heads. Mom doesn't usually care when we track mud in--she just cleans it up. You see, mom says that "this is really the dogs house, we just live here to take care of them." But when we had so much dirt/mud on us, mom had to clean us up a bit. Abby and Hartie just sat there and let her rub. Me, I had to make it difficult and made mom chase me around for awhile. She's been complaining that she needs to get more exercise and I thought I'd help her out. She didn't see it that way though. She said some really bad words. Oh, and the other exciting thing is we have birds nesting in our holly tree. You know, the one I tried to climb once. Well mom thinks that I'm thinking about trying it again. I WANT those birds. I am a bird dog after all.

Oh oh oh oh the other REAL exciting (and important) thing is that my pal Elvis ate a beef jerky yesterday. Now, for most of us this would just be delicious and that's it, but for Elvis it's a milestone since he has been sick and hasn't eaten anything on his own for days. We're hopeful that this is the start of the real healing for him. Get well big guy!
