I have a new sisfur!

Her name is Dot. She's my furmom Abby's grandaughter and her mom is my furbro Hartie's littermate. I've been having to serve as referee because Dot and Hartie like to tussle a little too much! Mom set up her Dogster page today, but hasn't been on Dogster for so long that she forgot how to include a hyperlink. Anyway you can find her from my page.

Can I ask for POTP for my furmom

Some of you may know that my furmom Abby was diagnosed a few months ago with degenerative myelopathy. It's a neurological disease that affects the spinal cord. Bottom line, her back end and back legs don't work so well anymore. Mom and dad have been giving her steroids and they seemed to work for awhile, but she's getting worse. Eventually, her back legs will be paralyzed and she won't be able to walk. Me and Hartie love our furmom and we are so grateful that we got to share another Mother's Day with her. We are very worried about her. All the POTP you could send her way would be really appreciated. Love to all my pals.

Thank you!

Thank you to all my pals who made my special day even more special! The sad news is that I did not get my cheese birthday cake. I shook my paw at mom last night because I was really expecting her to come through for me. BUT she did stop at the store and got a rotisserie chicken for us to share. And the bestest news of all--my furmom Abby--who has had a tough time lately--was around to see me have another birthday! That made the day extra special.

The Latest Around the Homestead

My kitty bro Duffy is back to being called Duffy "The Freak" Kitty again. As you know he was feeling a little under the weather last week, but this morning he attacked me. Can you believe that. When mom let Abby, Hartie and me out of our crates this morning he was standing around the corner of the kitchen and swatted at all three of us. He got me good right in my handsome hiney (that's for you O-Man)! And it stung. Mom just laughed--she said we are very thankful that Duffy is feeling better. Will I still be able to go to The Rainbow Bridge (a very long time from now) if I think really bad thoughts about that cat?

Update on Duffy!!!

Mom just heard from the vet and Duffy is going to be ok!!!!! Thank you to everyone for the power of the paw! It's an amazing thing. The vet said after further evaluation this morning he does not have a complete blockage and that's what saved him. He had a little wee-wee getting through. But he does have a pretty bad UTI infection and crystals in his urine. The vet has started him already on antibiotics and mom gets to pick him up and bring him home tonight!!!!! I've got to get a party planned here pups!!!!
