Her name is Dot. She's my furmom Abby's grandaughter and her mom is my furbro Hartie's littermate. I've been having to serve as referee because Dot and Hartie like to tussle a little too much! Some of you may know that my furmom Abby was diagnosed a few months ago with degenerative myelopathy. It's a neurological disease that affects the spinal cord. Bottom line, her back end and back legs don't work so well anymore. Mom and dad have been giving her steroids and they seemed to work for awhile, but she's getting worse. Eventually, her back legs will be paralyzed and she won't be able to walk. Me and Hartie love our furmom and we are so grateful that we got to share another Mother's Day with her. We are very worried about her. All the POTP you could send her way would be really appreciated. Love to all my pals.
Thank you to all my pals who made my special day even more special! The sad news is that I did not get my cheese birthday cake. I shook my paw at mom last night because I was really expecting her to come through for me. BUT she did stop at the store and got a rotisserie chicken for us to share. And the bestest news of all--my furmom Abby--who has had a tough time lately--was around to see me have another birthday! That made the day extra special.
