Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope all my pup pals have alot to be thankful for this year. :) I'm thankful for my family and friends (dog, cat, and human), my toys (especially my tennis balls), my outfits, my favorite TV shows, and most of all I'm thankful for TURKEY!!!!!

Seven random facts about me:

1.) I really like my clothes. Sometimes I'll bring them to mommy and beg her to put them on me.

2.) I whine and look sad if Mommy sings my favorite songs ("Dream a Little Dream of Me" and "Born to be Wild") to other dogs.

3.) I love watching "Kim Possible" and other stuff on the Disney Channel. Mommy leaves the Disney Channel on for me when she has to be gone for a long time.

4.) Captain Jack is my cousin and my best friend irl.

5.) I have an underbite that gives me a funny smile known as "The Sneer". Sometimes I do it just to make people laugh!

6.) My favoritest red tennis ball is near death. This will be the second one I've killed. I iz prowd.

7.) I love carob chips more than life itself.

The Great Flea Solution - Update

How can my mommy be so narrow minded? Not only did she turn down my People Food solution to the Flea Scourge, she said I'm not getting choklit ice kreem ever! And wait til you hear her bizarre flea solution: I should take more baths! :-O She's crazy, I tell you! Crazy!

Perhaps I can convince her to strike a compromise...say, an all-I-can-eat buffet alongside the tub at bath time...

The Great Flea Solution

Flea season is upon us. We must all direct our efforts toward ridding ourselves of this intolerable scourge.

My first such effort was trying to convince the cats to get rid of some of their fur. I even tried to help by taking their hair with my teeth. This plan was not greeted with the enthusiasm I'd hoped for.

My next idea was rotating the blankets in my bed every few seconds. If fleas can't stay still, they can't survive. That's my theory, anyway. I have extended this operation to the couch covers, the area rugs, and Mommy's bedsheets. Mommy has been very helpful in this effort. As soon as I move something, she moves it back. Now everything is being rotated twice as often!

My final plan is one that shall surely signal the end of the Flea Scourge. It has come to my attention that fleas don't infest humans the way they infest me. So what do humans do differently than I do? They eat PEOPLE FOOD! If I can just convince Mommy to feed me the same heavenly frozen dinners she makes for herself, I'm sure we'll see a dramatic decrease in the flea population in no time. If she feeds me the much-coveted CHOKLIT ICE KREEM, the fleas will be gone before I can sing "Said the flea to the fly in the flue"!

I leave now to activate my plan.

Dustbunnies

Dustbunnies are the best. What else can you use to make a bed, a second coat, a wig, *and* a delicious snack? (Well, lots of things, I guess, like my blanket or my pom cousins' tails. But that's another entry for another day.) Oh, and did I mention dustbunnies are great decorations for my favorite toys?
My mommy obviously recognizes the value of dustbunnies. Every so often, she uses a strange, noisy device known as a Vakyoom to harvest them. I've never actually seen what she does with with them afterward, but I suspect she sells them to those poor people on TV whose houses seem incapable of producing dustbunnies. I think that's how she affords to keep me in my stylish outfits - which I'm always finding new ways to embellish with..you guessed it...dustbunnies! O:-)
