Bear is an energetic boy who loves to play tug of war, run around like a mental, and give lots of kisses. If he doesn't know you, though, he'll thoroughly enjoy a good stretching of his mouth to bark at you until you talk to him.

Pet-Peeves:
He does not approve of the touching of his paws, or his backside, anyone being near his food or chewie (Heaven Forbid!).

Favorite Toy:
His beloved toys: his Strip; his Piece; his Fleece; his Eephant; his red ball; and other various tug toys.

Favorite Food:
Bear enjoys his Kibbles n Bits. He also likes it when we put a wee bit of warm water over his food, causing it to be softened to his liking.

Favorite Walk:
Bear likes to walk anywhere outside of the yard. There is plenty to stiff, and much tinkling to be done.

Best Tricks:
Bear gives high fives! He likes to roll over, too!

Arrival Story:
Bear was, for about three years, living in an abusive home before someone else rescued him from that family. Bear remained with Pat and Joe for about four months before he was given to us, where he has certainly found his happy home at last.

Bio:
Bear was once a very unfriendly dog due to the treatment he received from his original owners, but he has come a long way since then. He, as you can hopefully gather from his nickname, still growls at various moments, but he doesn't act as viciously or fearfully as he once had done.
