About me

Where I was born

I was born in Utica, Ohio about 30 miles outside of Columbus at the Windy Hill Kennel. Miss Cathy was my mom for awhile, until my REAL Mommy came to get me. My doggy mom is Ruby and doggy daddy is Spanky. They are both toy schnauzers, and I am too. However, mom and dad were 5.5lbs. and 7 lbs. My REAL Mommy thought I'd be about 6-7 lbs. I fooled her. I am a big toy schnauzer...11.5 lbs. Mommy says I am still considered a toy if I am under 12 lbs., so who knows. People always think I am a baby, but I don't mind as long as they give me attention! :-) I lived in Ohio for a year, but Mommy got a job in Georgia, so now I'm a little peach!

Mommy says she might get me a little sister from Miss Cathy's house next year. I'm not sure about it. Mom keeps saying I don't play well with others, whatever that means. I liked Windy Hill. My sisters and brothers all lived there too. In fact, I had a little sister in my litter that was mean as a snake. She was a LOT smaller than us, but MAN did she have a bark to go with her bite!

How I got my name

My name is Tristan. A big name for such a little dog, huh? Well, when Mommy didn't have a human boy to name Tristan, she gave me the name. Some people think it's after that Pitt guy in Legends of the Fall. Wrong. It's actually after a character on a British soap opera, All Creatures Great and Small, which is ironically about animals. Tristan on that show was quite a character...kinda like me! My full name is actually Jessica's Wee Lad Tristan, but that's too much to say all the time, so Mom just calls me Tristan....or Little T, my nickname.
