One of my best friends, Max, has tagged me! To know how to play tag, please read below.
To play tag, you first have to be tagged by another pup. When you get tagged you have to write 7 facts about yourself and name 7 dogs you are going to tag (I normally name more than 7!). When you're tagging a dog you have to give them a paw mail or rossette telling them you've tagged them!
All about me...
1. I love to sit on my front and back porches.
2. I jumped over the couch last night (Don't know why, just did!)!
3. I had a Collie friend spend the night last night.
4. My daycare is moving to a gigantic location, 15,000 sq.ft. (I wonder how much that is in puppy paws!) It is so huge that a girl could get lost in there. I think that I will ask one of my best buddies, Captain, to look out for me! He is a sucker for a damsel in distress! And, you should hear his woof!
5. My friends Hunter, Captain and Draco, all of Missoula, have woofing diaries! You should check them out (The diaries, I mean!)!
6. I may become a seeing-eye dog for Bentley! See my diary!
7. My mommy and I are planning a trip to Colorado to pick up Bentley.
I tagged these fantastic furballs:
1. Rainmakers Zen Zoey
2. Isky
3. Emmie
4. Owen
5. Maya
6. Wyatt
7. Mersadie Elaine
8. Zeus
9. Penny
Max, I am sending this back to you, too, so you can see what I had to say and what's been going on in my neck of the woods!
Collie kisses,
Hannah

Well, my best buds, a lot has happened since I last wrote! We have discovered some more about Bentley, our possible/probable rescue Collie. He is either three or four years old and is large for the breed standard, which means he is bigger than me since I am small for the breed standard. He is very gentle and, as the Rescue lady wrote, "is quite a handsome and charming fellow." She also wrote that, "He is good with the other dogs and especially enjoys the 'ladies,'" and "He will be a drop dead smashing giant Collie when his fur grows back." Unfortunately, Bentley was so matted that they had to shave him. However, he is now sporting the "lion" cut! What a cutie! One of my favorite friends, Hunter, had to be shaved and he is sporting the "lion" as well! I am sure they will be good friends when they finally get to meet!
One sad thing, though! I am sorry to tell you that Bentley is vision impaired and there may be no way to repair his eyesight. However, that does not mean that we don't want him to be part of our family. In fact, it makes us want him HOME even more! He will be going to a veterinary opthalmologist sometime this week and then we will know more about his vision (or, lack thereof!). Mommy says that I will need to be his seeing-eye dog! That's sort of funny, don't you think! Anyway, I'm up for it!
So, the last thing we are waiting to find out is what Bentley's kitty behavior is like. As you know, we have a 13 year old kitty whose name is Bartlett. We need to know if Bentley will "play nice" with the kitty. If so, we will begin a trip to Pueblo, Colorado, on Friday, August 24, 2007, to pick Bentley up and BRING HIM HOME!
I am so excited!
Collie kisses,
Hannah
P.S. - Bentley, if you read this, be nice to the test KITTY! Remember, you are looking spectacular in your new LION cut, however, you don't need to let the KITTY hear your ROAR or feel your CLAWS! Collie cooing, Hannah

My mommy has been thinking that maybe we should look for another Collie for me to play with. I am all for that! We would like to find a Collie who really needs a good home because furless ones may not think he is very adoptable. You know, he may be old (My mom prefers to say mature!), have some health issues, have some behavior problems, etc.
A few days ago (I know it was a few days ago because I have gone to sleep and woken up several times since then!)(MOM NOTE: It was this past Tuesday.), my mom stumbled (not literally!) upon the Pueblo Collie/Sheltie Rescue. They are located in Pueblo, Colorado.
There is one Collie, Oliver, who has sable markings and is about one year old and we are interested in him. He is heartworm negative but is very thin and we will need to fatten him up if we decide he is the one.
My mom also found out that the Rescue was going to get from Houston, Texas, the very next day, six Collies (three rough and three smooth). They are coming from Texas because there was a lady there who had 87, I think, Collies who she wasn't able to care for anymore! How sad! Anyway, the Rescue lady is going to send us some information on the Collies who will be arriving. We are excited to see if there is a Collie in the group whom we think we can help and can add to our family!
Collie kisses,
Hannah
