The Big Move.......AKA An 18 Hour Headache!

SO much has happened in my life I don't know where to start!
In March Daddy disappeared. Yup up and disappeared.I didn't know what to think, Hu-sissy still went to school, Mamma still went to work and life seemed to go on as usual but Daddy never came back.
Then in June Mamma up and disappeared and left me with *Gulp* the adult hu-sibs. YIKES!
I have a schedule to adhere to, I can't be staying up all night playing X-Box and sleeping till noon!
After 10 Loooooooong days and nights Mamma came home smelling like sunshine and pools, sand and ??? alligators? huh?
The next weekend Daddy came home and man oh man did we Pawty!
Steaks on the grill, early bedtimes....Pawfect!
Come Monday he was gone again...What in the name of Chihuahua was going on?

In July Mamma disappeared again and this is where I drew the line!
I have NEVER been left without Momma in all my born days, now she's taking off willy nilly and leaving us with those those.... Ruffians?
I called an emergency Amigo meeting and plotted out our plan. 1st up, someone run away so Mom has to come home, preferably Baby or Charlie!
Second, Start peeing all over so the "Adults" (and I use that term VERY loosley!) will have to call Mamma to come home!
It seemed to work cuz Mamma came home after 7 days and loved us up.

Then she started dragging all these boxes home and packing up stuff. I thought maybe Hoarders was finally coming and she was going to put up a good front!
I helped her by nudging some boxes to the birds cage. Seriously, they can GO!
Mamma packed and packed, and packed some more. When she started to pack dog beds and dog toys that's when we really freaked out!
What could this possibly mean? Was she donating our stuff to the shelter's AGAIN? Was Hoarders REALLY coming? Was someone moving in or moving out?
It was quite the conundrum...... And we we're all in a state of uncertainty.
Next thing we knew Momma came home with a GIANT yellow truck and the madness began...................

My 3rd Woofday and beyond.....

Thank You to all my furiends for helping me celebrate my 3rd Woofday!
Big Chi kisses to STAFU, H2H Chihauhua's,Tiny Paws and PDPC for remembering me even though I haven't been on in eons!
I miss everypup SO much and am right now devising a fiendish plan to get Mom to quit that dumb old job of hers and devote her life to me, as it should be.
My brudders and I are planning to picket in front of our house as soon as the snow melt's :) Mid June or so~bol~
Any one that wants to join is more than welcome. We are currently looking for catchy slogans to attract the attention of the local media.
Something along the lines of ...."KEEP MOMS HOME"!! or
"Doggies rights for full time Pawrents"
When I signed on here there was NO getting out of bed in the dark to potty, NO Mom leaving while it was still dark and definitely NO being left alone with...................

That being said, I had a lovely Woofday pawty, Pawsome liver cake from Happy Dog Barkery, Yummy bully stick pawty favors and lots of great pressies.

Hibernating 101

As yet another Chicago winter drags on and on and on, and on and on and on.
(6-10 inches today & tomorrow sigh)
I think I have perfected the art of survival for said winters.
First and foremost......
Pee inside as much as possible to protect your manhood from snow and frost damage!
Mom espically likes it when I pee ON the potty in the bathroom :)

Secondly, stay by the fat and/or furry kid!
In this case that would be my brudders Parker & Baby!
Parky has wonderful luxurious hair to hide in and Baby has enough body fat for 6 Chihuahua's!

Third, refrain from unnecessary movement or barking as this releases much need body heat, energy and ooompffff.....And you know I need my oooompfff!

Lastly and perhaps most importantly, Put on your most pathetic starving face and beg as much food as possible from the hoomans, to comfort you on those long winter days and nights!

When all else fails.....Curl up next to the heating vent on a fleece blankie and dream of warm sunshiny days :)

A new winged monster

Monday when Mom picked up big hu-sissy from work they saw a HUGE hawk heading toward our house.
By the time they pulled in the driveway he was perched on the neighbors roof looking right at MY back door.
Let me at 'em I told Ma....Let me at 'em!
Mom grabbed the camera and fur cousin Bubba Smalls and headed outside.
That.....Thing..... just sat right on the roof and watched everything she did.
I think he was a waitin fur me!
He surely put a damper in my afternoon playtime and Mom has been on extra high alert ever since then. *Sigh*
This particular hawk looked quite a bit bigger than the one that tried to snatch me away, So Mom put some extra "weapons" all around the yard just in case.
Pawsonally I'm hoping Bubba or Baby Pug will just eat it~BOL~
Be careful out there kids!

The parade de-tails ;>

Yesterday I got to march in our towns Halloween parade.
It was SO exciting let me tell you fluffs!
It was just me, Mom & little hu-sissy and I didn't even have to wear a costume.
How cool is that?!
The weather was absolutely perfecto! Sunny and mild for our area at least and best of all, no rain.
Mom tucked me safe and sound in my little pouch and I was happy as can be!
The bigger dogs WISHED they could be carried like me.
The police blocked off Main Street and all the kids in their costumes marched through town.
I of course was the star attraction!
I wouldn't be suprised at all if Pawllywood calls Mom real soon!
Swimmin Pools, Movies Stars...Here I come~BOL~
After the parade we went trick or treating all up and down Main Street and Cheryl at Happy Dpg Barkery had dog treaties just for me......(At least thats what I tell myself)
Lots of people stopped to pet me and take my picture, Had I known I might have applied a splash or two of doggie cologne and maybe even had a mani & pedi!
When we got home Parker & Baby were SO jealous!
They sniffed me all over and knew I was at the Barkery.
Luckily I saved a few morsels for them.
I took a nice long afternoon nap while Mom mowed up the leaves and then helped her load my new pictures on my page.
What a Grrrreat Day!

My Easter Bunny Visit

So, Mom took Angel, Daisy & I to see the Easter Bunny.
I've been thinking about it all week and decided I would ask him to get a hold of Santa Claus and rescind my request for a wife.
I know....I know.....It's been my deepest desire for almost 2 years to have a woman of my own, But I think there was some sort of mix up at the North Pole.
This fiesty little Chihuahua is NOT at all what I asked for!
I was thinking something along the lines of a cute little Tzu, warm, fluffy and submissive*grins*
This here Chihuahua at my house is a wild woman! Not at all what I had pictured for Mrs. el Bandito.
So, if any of you fluffs go see the Easter Bunny can you ask him to get my message to Santa?
If I don't hear from him soon I'm going to try sticking her in a box and mailing her back myself!!!
If I can borrow some dog bones for postage that is!

My 2nd Woofday

Well, I'm a whopping 2 yrs old now fluffs, Can you belive it?
Mom had a wonderfur pawty fur me and I even let my new wife..er..I mean sister get the 1st sniff of cake.
Quite the gentleman eh?
Mom got me a soft new blankie with my name embroidered on it, and little hu-sissy got me a cheerleader! Rah-Rah-Rah guys!!!!!
I got a sweater too but thankfully it was too small!
Hard to imagine anything too small for me~BOL~
Mom took me for a nice long car ride so I could fiercly bark at people and things, and I got to stay out in the sun most of the afternoon.
As always Happy Dog Barkery outdid themselves with a lovely Liver Cake and we call got bully sticks as pawty favors.
That Mom sure can throw a shindig I tell ya!!

My 1st ever Chihuahua Playdate

Sunday Mom took me and little hu-sissy far, far away in the car.
I thought maybe we were going to visit Aunt Mary in Nappanee but when Mom finally turned the car off I heard barking.
This immediately put me on alert and I flexed my Chihuahua muscles in case I needed to protect my familia!
So we go into the building and the whole placed smelled like doggies!
Aye Che-Wa-Wa I says, let me down so's I can pee!
When we got back to our play area there were 2 Chi's in their carriers barking up a storm.
Their Mom let them out and we had a little sniff fest~BOL~
I was really enjoying myself, strutting my manly self all around, playing a little cat & mouse, if you will:)
Then even MORE Chi's came and I wasn't too happy to have these fella's sniffing in my territory.
Every Chi was bigger than me and I kept hiding behind the chairs.
I was really trying to entice one of the cute chicks under the chair with me for some one on one time but they just weren't following my lead.
Just when I was about to give up even MORE chi's showed up~Holy Fur Batman~Thats A LOT of Chihuahua's!
It got real noisy for a while but suddenly a ray of sunshine came down and I saw THE most beautiful Chihuahua!
Her name was Gigi... She was dainty, all black with white socks like me.
She had on a Dolce & Barkana Diamond collar and the minute I saw it, I mean her, I knew she was the one.
I strutted, stretched and pranced. Gave her THE look and gave her my best pick up line ~Do you believe in love at first sight or do I have to walk by again~
I'd like to say that she rushed into my paws and we lived happily ever after. But...........................
For some reason my pick up line made her eyes go all big and resulted in a right paw to the chops for me~Sigh~
Defeated I peed on the floor and then crawled into Moms lap for some positive reinforcement and belly rubs.
Mom told me there are plenty of fish in the ocean but I don't even like fish!
I guess we have another playdate in a few weeks so I have plenty of time to fine tune my machismo ;}
