Dogster Love

I have been a member of Dogster since July 29th 2007. I didn't add a picture and become active till the begining of March 2008. I had no idea what a wonderful place Dogster was! The friendship and love and caring I have found here is beyond words. I have met so many wonderful friends and I have received so many Honors from the groups that I'm in and the most recent one from the All Fur Fun group. I have been given the grand Honor of lighting the AFF Christmas Tree!!! Words can't express my joy to have this honor!!! I want to thank my good friend "IZZY", without her I would not have this honor. I want to thank all my friends and groups I'm in for making me feel so welcome. I wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas.

What a wonderfull Birthday

I had a really great Birthday! I wanted to say "Thank You" to all who sent me a pmail or gave me a gift. I tried to keep track of it all, but I'm not sure I got everyfur. I sure don't want to miss one of my friends, so I thought I would write here and let you all know how much each and every gift ment to me. I'm very lucky to have found Dogster and the friendship it offers. So I close by saying Thank you for the Birthday surprizes and your friendship. It all means alot to me.

Have you met Hoochie & Raley?

Hoochie and Raley are two Siberian pals of mine who were brutally gunned down in Florida, shot 6 times at point blank range right in front of their owner, who was begging for the shooter to stop. Through the grace of God they are alive and on the mend, but could sure use some pals right about now.

You see, the police are stalling by not filing charges against the shooter, hoping the outrage will die down and then they can let it all just fade away. We need people to maintain pressure on the State Prosecutor so that will NOT happen.

Please consider signing the on line petition that has been started, in order to bring charges against this monster.

Ruby's Day Out

It was a very nice day here for a change. Not to awful hot and not raining. So mom decided to take me to the metro park. I just really love to go there. There's so much to experience, and boy did I experience it. I was walking so good for mom, just being the best girl I could be. Enjoying all the people that would come and talk to me, and seeing the other pups too. Well as I was being such a good girl, we went around a corner and about a half a block away 2 deer came running across our path. Well, we all know what that means! I took off and about drug mom into the woods chasing after the deer. It was all she could do to stay on her feet. It took her a while but finally she got me settled down enough to catch her breath. We had to sit on a bench so she could rest. We went on with our walk and wouldn't you know it, I spotted a squirrel rustling around just right on the edge of the path. Well again,we know what that means! Off after that squirrel I went, dragging mom behind again. Poor mom, I think she got more of a work out than I did. I thought we would have to leave and go home after that one, but mom was a good sport and we finished our walk. On the rest of my walk I was really good. I think I got a little tired out myself. On the way home we went a different way. I wondered what was up. Well I soon found out. Mom said I needed to have something done. I didn't like the sound of that, but what choice do I have. We stopped at the vets and I got poked with a big needle. What it was is I got micro chipped. Mom said she worries about me getting away and wanted to do all she could in case that would happen.She has read of so many pups running away here on dogster, she just knew she had to do this for me. It wasn't bad at all and the most important thing is the love I have here.
