Ocean Beach CA

Wow, mom sure has been lax in keeping our diaries updated! I was buggin her about it, and she finally found some time to help write.

Ocean Beach was a blast! I went into the water the furthest I've ever been :) It was fun chasing Buddy and the other pups there through the water and sand.

Mom was a little upset with me though, I don't understand why.......
When people came past with these big scary hats on, I tried to drive them away by running up to each and every one of them and barking.
Now, you'd think I would get a reward for keeping them away, I don't think soooooooo. I also made sure anyone that passed our back patio made sure not to do it again, eve when they were pretty far away. Aren't we supposed to be guard dogs???????

She is threatening me with something that sounded like "citronella collar" wonder what that could be? Anyway, we still all had a great time, can't wait till the next beach outing.........

Wow, lotsa stuff happening......

It's been a while, but I'm baaaaack :P

I did pass my puppy classes and have now advanced to intermediate. Guess what! My brother Buddy is in my class too! I really like it except I would much rather lay down for a stay than sit. I don't know why mommy and everyone else thinks it's so important to "sit stay", geesh.

We went to Reno for Christmas to visit our grandpawrents and had such a great time. They had this stuff called snow, and I really liked it, wish there would have been more! I went digging for mushrooms and found a few dried dead birds. I don't know why everyone was so upset with my retrieving efforts, isn't that what I am meant to do ??????????

I am told we now have plans to visit someplace called Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach. Mom tells me it's gonna be alot like when we visited the beach in Santa Barbara only better, sounds like fun to me.

Puppy Class

Well, I think I really like these puppy classes! Just me and Thor, the 9 week old german sherpard in the class. He tried to put some wrestling moves on me the first week, but not to worry I put him right on his back and growled in his face! I think his male owner was a little shocked that little ol me could discipline his German Shepard HEE HEE.

We worked on Sit, Stand, and Down last week. This week we are doing down from a standing position, stays and come. That come is fun! Mommy was at one end of an isle in Petsmart and Daddy was at the other. One of them would call my name a "come" and when I ran to them I got a treat! Imagine that, and then the other one would call me and I got a treat for running to Daddy too..

Walking on a leash?

This week mommy has been putting this thing called a "collar" around my neck and attaching a long line to it. She calls it a leash? We walk up and down our block, through all the different types of rocks people have in their front yards, and I especially like to bound back and forth across our front yard of nice green grass. Mommy says "good girl" a lot during these trips, so I must be doing OK. She holds a yummy treat out every few minutes as I walk along nicely next to her, then she will ask me to sit or lie down and give me MORE ymmy treats. I could get used to all this! Last night I sat down down as we were heading into the garage on the way to the house because I wanted to stay out longer BOL!

Next week I start puppy classes...... Wonder what that is?!?!?!?

I'm Hooooome!

Hi everyone, I am finally home with my Family :) It took an RV ride and two planes to get me safely here. I loved and trusted Mommy from the start. In the airport we cuddled and nuzzled and I smelled and licked her face and hair.
You know, I needed to imprint her into my memory! She and Daddy think I am so adorable, and I love my big brother Buddy. We have so much fun playing, we definitely wear Daddy out in the afternoon before Mommy gets home :P

Last weekend we went to Mommy's and Buddy's friends house for a Doggie
Birthday party for Jackpot and Zeke. Mommy actually met them through Dogster and they have become the best of buddies. I was on my best behavior and had a really good time. Buddy liked it too, and raided their doggy toybox. We had cake and cookies from Three Dog Bakery, and got lot's of attention from everyone there. We even got doggie bags to take home, so we are still enjoying the party!!! Thanks Jackpot and Zeke and their Mommy and Daddy, we hope to see you soon. Well, I'm getting sleepy, must be time for a nap. You know how quick we puppies get tired BOL
