Quick Bio:

Birthday:

Likes:
He actually loves being scratched right between his eyes and down to his nose. I can't explain it, but it almost puts him to sleep like rubbing an alligator's belly. :)

Pet-Peeves:
He absolutely HATES when people walk away after giving him attention. He screams and jumps and acts like a giant brat.

Favorite Toy:
Believe it or not... his two favorite toys are a "Jolly Apple" horse toy, and a big plastic bucket. Also meant for horses.

Favorite Food:
Martini is either a very smart dog or a very dumb dog when it comes to this. He doesn't like people food. I made him a birthday cake when he turned 1 and he would'nt touch it.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere he can sniff everything.

Best Tricks:
Tricks? What are these "tricks" you speak of??

Arrival Story:
Martini is a pretty rare breed around these parts. Everyone stops me and asks what kind of dog he is. They know he's some kind of mastiff, but they aren't always sure. The sad part is, Martini was a pet store dog. PET STORE!!!! Personally, I don't believe dogs who will grow to be over 100 pounds should be sold in pet stores. Most people going in there to buy a dog (stupid, stupid, stupid!!) want something small and foo-foo that they can carry around in a doggy purse. I couldn't believe he was in there and I had visions of some punk guy buying him because he would make him look tough or cool. Kinda like how some guys think owning a pit bull makes them badass. Puh-lease!! So, needless to say, I got him out of there as fast as I could.

Bio:
Martini has no idea he's 113 pounds of dog. (and growing!) He tries to get in your lap, sit on you, step on you, etc. He's a big baby. He SCREAMS when he wants something (food, attention, to go outside, etc.) And I mean screams. You'd never believe the noises were coming from him. But at the same time... if he hears a suspicious noise off in the distance, he'll stand right between me and the noise. He takes his job very seriously and he has since he was only about 4-5 months old. Natural born protector.
