Our Dear Renze is an Angel now at the Rainbow Bridge. He gave us 14 years of love, joy, care and his unique naughtiness.
He got his call from God on December 22 at 5.15 am (Philippine Time)Dec. 21 - 1:15pm PST.
Some voids in life can't be filled. This is one of them. We will cherish his memories knowing that he is now in no pain and looking down at us and have joined with our Angels Lassie,Cutie,Mira and all our Angel furriends.
Good bye for now my son, until we are united again.

I want to share Renze's (PET PEEVES) who just HATES baths. Every time mom mentions the word "BATH," he runs away and hides under the table,bed...etc and started trembling!
It takes the entire family to catch him. Mom even tried SPELLING the word. "It's time to give Renze a B-A-T-H," mom would say. But Renze soon caught on and began running for cover at the very spelling of the word "BATH." (Who said dogs aren't smart?)bol!!

We were called to see the vet and we arrived at the clinic at around 4:15pm .Since the appointment was scheduled to be at 4:30pm We decided to wait and discussed what we should ask the vet.
Earlier the clinic had called and mentioned three things about Lassie's comprehensive blood test result :
1. High Liver enzyme function
2. Low Thyroid function
3. Low Cholesterol
This actually got us worried and we surfed the net in order to check causes,reasons for this and this could be rectified.We were very optimistic that in addition to our findings ,the vet would be able to shed more lights in this regard and guide us in the right direction.
Sadly come 4:30 pm we were told that the vet is too busy her assistant who was very helpful by the way reiterated the above findings and told us that there is nothing to worry it's normal he said.This was quite contrary to what we had read.
The assistant mentioned that Lassie lost a lot of blood during surgery.They have given her something for the bleeding to stop (potassium) We will go back on Monday for another blood test and we can get the print out of the blood test result.
This entire ordeal although not very serious has been very disheartening .We wished the doctor would have been more responsive and give us at least 5 mins of her timeso that we could understand better and could get answer to some of the questions we had.
Anyways , Lassie is back home sleeping right now next to me.I'm sure she will be her usual self tomorrow.Thank God! at least the surgery is behind us.Let's hope for the best and better cooperation from the vet on Monday.
