Arrival Story:
My husband had always wanted a White Husky with Blue Eyes. The day we signed papers on our first house we went to them mall to buy a refrigerator. As we passed the pet store we saw Boudreaux and it was love at first sight! He snuggled right up to us and before you know it we were taking him home.

Bio:
When we brought Boo home we quickly discovered he was missing a toe on his right front paw. Because it was a congenital defect we were given store credit for what we paid for him. We were deeply in love, and wouldn't have returned him. Even if we could have parted with him we are sure his future would have been dim. We have always felt that we 'rescued' him. A few months later we used our store credit to bring home Sven, a Norwegian Elkhound. On July fourth of that year they were chasing each other through the house when Boo somehow broke his bad leg in three places. Because it already caused him a lot of pain we opted to have it amputated, and he has done fine as a tripod. A few weeks after surgery he was digging out under our fence to explore the world outside of our backyard! We lived in Texas when Boudreaux came to live with us. We have since relocated to Nebraska where he is enjoys the winter weather.
