What happened to me and a Pupdate 8.25.11August 25th 2011 2:59 pm[ View A Comments (8) ]
Before I say anything let me start off by saying how much you all rock!! Power of the Paw is a remarkable thing!!
OMD Riley...We praising God for all the answered prayers. When we saw what had happened, we started praying right away. We are so glad you are on the mend. We are thrilled, you did a poopie on the floor. It's not good when we haven't went for a couple days. You sure didn't need another issue to fight. Sending tons of love, kisses, hugs and more prayers for a speedy recovery....mazy Suppose neither of other dogs parents are going to help pay your medical bill, either??????? No, the dog we are sure it was said to mom, "how do you know it was my dog"? We don't want their money ... they just need to keep their dogs in their own yard or someone is going to get killed!! Thank you for the prayers Mazy and Family!! OMD! I hope your momma reported this to the animal control division in your city. There were two loose dogs and both should be suspect in causing the injury. Do you know who owns the second dog that was loose also? If not it's possible that the other owner knows. By reporting this incident you can prevent it from happening to another dog or even a person. It's apparent that one of the loose dogs was not friendly and steps need to be taken to make sure this does not happen again. Let animal control handle this. They can possibly determine which dog did the injury and then you might be able to get the owner to pay for the vet bills. Thank goodness Riley wasn't killed. OMD Riley, how scary fur you and your mommy! I'm glad you're on the mend! I agree with Coco, the incident needs to be reported and the one owner identified. Aggressive dogs need to be kept confined and under control! Riley, after momma posted our above comment and left Dogster she then went on to read the 10 News web site because we live in Temecula Valley and don't have a local news station. Anyhow, in El Cajon recently a young girl was walking her Yorkie and it too was attacked by a pitt bull. The Yorkie was named LuLu and she too suffered several deep gashes and had a tube inserted in her body to drain excess liquids. Lulu is now recovering from her injuries. Animal control said that the owner could face criminal charges or administrative actions. Also LuLu's owners might also pursue a citizen's arrest or civil action to get the pitt bull's owner to pay for the vet bills. We're so sorry that happened to you! But very happy to hear your progress! You'll be good as new in no time! OMD Riley! How scary! But in true terrier fashion you put on a brave face and try not to show your pain. Missy's the same! Sounds like this is something that's happened before, and the owner of the Pitbull is just irresponsible. Sadly it probably will happen again if the dog keeps getting loose. Lets just hope it's not you again! Glad you're recovering well. *Hugs* Well! If I were there I'd bite those pitbulls! I'm so glad you're ok! |
