Arrival Story:
i have wanted a great dane for as long as i can remember . . . . my husband and i were talking about getting a puppy and he convinced me that a dane was just too big so we started looking at labs. well after about a week of tring to pick a puppy to adopted matt called me from work and said 3 things that shocked me to death . . . . #1: "what kind of dog have you always wanted?" ( duh, a dane!) #2: "how man times do we live?" ( ahhhh, once!) #3: "wanna pick up a dane/lab puppy tonight?" (holy crap! heck yeah!) needless to say i was shocked!!! we picked up guthrie after a 3 hour car ride and didn't get home until 1 A.M. !!! and he has been my side kick ever since!
