Arrival Story:
I went into a petshop looking,which I almost never do,for a yellow lab puppy. There had never been one there before so I thought I was safe. Lo and behold there was a cute little fellow and I asked to hold him. I usually have pretty good self control and can put the puppy back and at least make it to the pound to get a harder to place dog but not in this case. I thought,"my,what a calm puppy".As I found out later,he was calm because he had been driven down from Mo to Fl the day earlier. That would tire anything.

Bio:
I'm really glad I got Beau at that time as we were to go through a very difficult time and he has helped the family a lot,especially my elderly dad. He functioned as a guardian for my parents and often alerted me if something was wrong. His very large bark made anyone think twice about coming in.
