Arrival Story:
My mum lost her beloved cat Indiana on 22nd July 2005 she was 18 years old, and mum says "I saw her into the world and I saw her out of it". She was completely devastated when Indi was put to sleep, but the previous few months she had been talking about getting a dog after Indi had gone.
In November she was checking the local free ads when she spotted an ad for beagle/basset pups for sale. The time was right, the pain of losing Indi was easing a little so she and a friend went to see them.
They came into the barn where we were, there was 6 or 7 wriggling little mutts, all ears and noses. She was drawn to me straight away, I was the lightest colour of them all. A little red head, and then they were told that I was the only bitch in the litter. I think we fell in love with each other as soon as we met.
At first my name was Suzi but within 24 hours it was clear that this was the wrong name. She kept forgetting it so it clearly wasn't for me. Then her friend came up with "Molly", and they thought it suits me so well.
Bio:
My best friends are Scooby Doo and Sam. They are both border collies. I was introduced to Scooby the day I came home and we were both smitten with each other. Scooby definately sees me as his little sister and he tolerates all sorts from me. Sam was introduced to us in March 2006. He made us into the "terrible trio" and as such we are a great success.
