The Last Forum I Posted In: Hey Pups! What was your name Pre-Adoption?
I had my vet visit yesterday at Petsmart. I got three shots and I barely moved. I just wanted it to be over with. I have a clean bill of health. My ears and eyes are good. I"m going to take a nap.
Well, I found a new home in Mountain View. I came from San Francisco. I got a little car sick on the way home. I still need to get used to it.
My human slept in the living room with me the first night. I had a nice new couch on the floor in front of the TV. By the third night, I was sleeping on my human's bed. I let him sleep there too.
I was a little anxious at first, but my human showed me this orchard near the house. There's a lot of dogs that go there. And I love to sniff sniff run run run.
Then I got my own room in the garage. These humans are funny... they gave me the biggest room in the house! It even has a skylight, my own washer and dryer, and bathroom. I'm only there when the humans are away.
My human took me to the dog park at Shoreline, and I got to play with the big dogs. Everyone became a good friend... well, almost everybody. One human called me a Tomboy, maybe because I like to run run run. Another called me a "referee", probably because I have a stripe, or I'm trying to boss every one around.
After a few accidents, I think I'm at home now.
And I love chasing that red dot that shows up randomly in the house, which I can never seem to catch. It disappears and I end up looking for it, and it rarely shows up anytime soon.
Oh, and today I found out that I'm a Welsh Corgi/American Foxhound mix. No wonder they call me....
