My Busy Day

Today was a purrtty busy day fer me, mom & dad. We took mom to see that pcp doctor. I just had to make sure she got that cough she has had fer way to long looked into among a few other health issues. We had to wait fer a while in the exam room fer the doctor. When he did come in he asked me how I was and how things were going. I let him know mom wasn't feeling all the great. She has to take antibiotics just like I did fer my paw. Mom has Bronco Itis in her throat. Plus that broken tooth has made her gum swollen. So the antibiotics should take care of the infection she has. Now wonder she has been getting worn out so much faster lately and feeling icky. After the appointment we did some shopping in walmart. When we was done we dropped off them paper things the doctor gave mom at cvs. I ruv the drive thru they always give me a yummy treat. Lately they have been giving me jerky instead of biscuits. It is a nice change of pace.

Now I know all of you will understand it if my brudders and me aren't visiting our usual groups often until mom starts feeling better. Well I am getting off now so I can tuck mom in fer the night.

Separation

Today while my mom went off to the dentist I stayed home wiff my dad and Rascal. At furst I was upset when mom left but after a short while I settled down. Dad played wiff me while Rascal slept. We all went fer a really nice walk.

Now at the dentist's it turns out poor mom did NOT have her tooff pulled today. That is going to be done on March 9th. I have no idea how she is going to make it until then. I can tell when she isn't feeling good and it bothers me. I am doing my best to comfort her when she needs it. Also while mom was away I think she had some separation issues also.

I've been a busy pup

Let's see on monday I went wiff my pawrents and a couple of errands. We had to leave Rascal at home. I am not too sure about my brudder and them bugs and the trash can. I'll let you read his diary fer all the details. All the running around wore my mom out so on Tues it was just a rest day. I got in a whole bunch of cuddling wiff her. Now on wednesday we did I usual errands which included walmart. Mom is making a point that once she is done shopping that she gives me the walmart power walk. I really look forward to this and even am telling mom to hurry up and finish shopping so we can do it. BOL! Oh, we met the lady who works wiff the eyeglasses today. She and mom got to talking. Well one thing lead to another and mom showed one of the photos of me wearing my sunglasses. She asked mom if would be okay if she had a copy of it to put up in the eyeglasses place. Now I am not sure if I am going to the dentist wiff mom or not on thursday. Poor mom needs to have a very painful tooff pulled.

How My Dew Claw is Doing

Well it seems that the worse is most certainly over. I went back to work today as mom's service dog. Mom kept smiling at me while we were out. I think it had to do wiff the fact I kept saying hi to my human furends by talking to them. Usually I am quiet when I am out working. Mom told them that I just happy to be back working. She told them that I hurt myself and that I was doing much better now. Today we did a few errands and went to walmart were I did a modified power walk. I didn't walk as fast as last week or as much. It sure felt good to get out and work! My paw only hurt me a little bit afterwards. Mom told me it will keep getting better wiff each passing day.

Also I am very proud of Rascal fer calling the trash can addicts hot line. You can read more details in his diary.

Update in my Dew Claw

I got the bandage taken off today. It feels kinda strange to be able to have air on it again & be able to lick it once more. The nail still looks nasty but doesn't hurt me as much anymore. Thank you all my furends and your families fer keeping me in your prayers fer a speedy recovery. I knows it helped me. Now when my mom gently touches it I no longer cry out in pain. What a relief! Now I can safely go back to work as a service dog. The POTP is helping me so much!

Update on Me

It is starting to feel a tiny bit better under the bandage. On Saturday night I took off the bandage the vet had put on. The darn thing was so annoying. Part of it went under the paw and was bugging me when I walked. It was more than enough that my dew claw was hurting that I couldn't take it. Once my mom saw I had the bandage off she set about putting a new one on me. She made it so it didn't do the samething the furst one did. Rascal told me that she was real good at taking care of boo boos. He was so right! Now I did cry out some when she put the new bandage on me. I am really hoping that when the bandage comes off tomorrow that it will not hurt like the other night.

Now furst off I would like to thank my brudders fer letting you all know what happened to me. Next I would like to thank all of you for sending me p-mails and rosettes with POP. This POP sure does work wonders.

Wounded Dew Claw

Late friday afternoon I injured the dew claw on my left leg. I broke it somehow. Not sure what I did. All I know is that it sure did hurt me a lot! Mom took me to see my vet Dr. K. While we was waiting in the waiting room the nail broke broke off. Ouchy!!! Since where it broke off mommy told me that I was still going to see Dr. K. He is a really nice vet that has treated all the pups in my family. Went we gots to the exam room Dr. K gots on the floor to take a look see at my paw. This other person and him came back. That is when he put this stingy stuff on my broken nail. My nail is broken off near the dew claw pad. He gave me some medicine to take fer the next three days. That is also when mom can remove my bandage, Right now I am not messing wiff the bandage since my paw still hurts me if it is messed wiff.

Puppy Power Walking

Today mommy and me went to walmart to do some shopping. Mostly when I go shopping it is purtty much stop and go fer me. We stop when mommy picks out the thing she wants to buy. Today when mommy was done getting the stuff that was needed she decided to go up this mostly empty aisle that was the width of the store. Well once we got moving I really got into it. When we got to the end I just looked at mommy and she made a turn and we went the length of the store. Now I was really getting into it. We ended up going around walmart two whole times. I had a real blast walking that fast. I got in such a rhythm while walking that I ended up making the cart mommy rides on go faster. Mommy told me that she will do this wiff me more often since I enjoyed it so much. Let me time ya it is a good way to keep ones girlish figure in shape. Now when we got to checkout their were a few ladies that work at walmart who know me since I furst started going to there as a service dog in training. They all commented on how much I have matured and how good I am when I'm in the store now. I know my mommy was beaming wiff pride when she heard them give me the compliments.

After we got home and all the stuff had been brought in Rascal snatched a mini bagel out of the bag by making a hole in it. He then told me to take one before our pawrents noticed. Now when mommy took the bagels out of the grocery bag she did notice the hole in the bagel bag. I think my brudder is getting real daring.

Murphy's Visit

Let me warn all of you that there is this guy named Murphy out there. He likes to cause trouble fer folks. Recently he visited wiff my family. I hopes me and Rascy have kicked his tushy outta here finally. Keep your paws crossed that we did. Thanks.

Now this guy Murphy messed wiff the car battery. We had to get a new one. Then he made Rascal limp fer a day. Made my tummydo flip flops fer a couple of days. Made the kitchen faucet LEAK and the turn off thingys under the sink not work to turn off the water. So the water had to be shut off fer the whole house. UGH, poor dad had to go up and down the stairs to the basement way too many times to turn the water on and off. Now mom started looking up online to buy a new faucet when she decided to check to see if she could get replacement parts fer it instead. Well she finally found the hardware store that had the parts needed in stock. At furst I thought it was just going to be me and her running quickly to the store. Well Rascal and dad ended up coming along fer the ride. Guess they both needed airing out. They both stayed in the car while me and mom went inside the store to get what mom needed to fix the faucet with. Then we returned home. Mom went to work replacing the different parts while me and Rascal laid in the kitchen watching her. When she was all done the faucet worked perfectly. WTG Mom! Rascal later told me that mom had installed this faucet before I was born. Now I do recall her working on the pipes under the sink in one of our bathrooms. All I can say she is one handy mommy.

I am keeping a lookout fer Murphy. Don't want him back here anytime soon!

My Birthday

Today is my 4th Birthday. I would like to thank all of my furends who have wished me a Happy Birthday. So far I have been having a pawtastic day. I had hoped to play in the snow today but it wasn't soft like yesterday. It was all covered wiff ice, YUuuCK!!! It crunched and crackled under my paws. The sidewalks were like an ice skating rink. I made sure my mom didn't slip on the ice. I am always ready to help my mom whenever she needs it. As you can see in one of the new photos I added I got her bottle of water when she needed it. I do not mind working on my birthday. Now for my birthday I got some new squeaky toys. A pup can never have too many squeaky toys. One of the toys combines two of my favorite toys together. It is a squeaky tennis ball . So I have been having fun playing wiff my new toys. I also got a special yummy frosty paws peanut flavored treat. My mom caught me on video eating it. It is wiff the other videos of me. Don't know if my mom has anymore surprises in store for me or not. Rascal will not tell me.
