Arrival Story:
My mom was lonely and needed a furry companion after my dad passed away. She had always been fascinated with the Papillon breed and wanted a little Papillon girl to help her through the rough times. We searched puppyfind for one because there weren't any in the shelters near us. Their a bit of a rare breed so we didn't expect to. We became discourage by all of the backyard breeders and puppy mills on their so we turned back to a local search. Soon we found a breeder in a city a couple of hours away. They had a litter of papillons and we met them half way and got Tiki. She has been such a wonderful addition to our family and such a comfort!

Bio:
Tiki is an amazing girl she is a fantastic dog who loves all kids and animals. She just can't stand birds, squirrels, or men. She even nursed a litter of abandoned pit bull puppies. Their owner had taken the mother in for a spay and told them to abort the full term puppies when done! Lucky for them my aunt was working that day and she took them home and bottle fed them. She couldn't keep up with their feeding on her own though so I stepped in to help. The next day they came and stayed with me so I could care for them while she was working. As soon as Tiki spotted the puppies she went over and started allowing them to nurse. Within 24 hours she started producing milk for them! She had, had 2 litters previously but we never thought that she would take on two puppies that weren't her own. She constantly opens our eyes as to what a miracle it is to have her around. She has since been spayed because although she loves being a momma we wanted to put her health first. That means being responsible and not letting her have more than 4 litters during her lifespan.
