Birthday: February 14th 2008 Likes: long long walks, playing with moochie, and to run Pet-Peeves: being fussed with, baths, small spaces, loud noises. Favorite Toy: I love all of my toys, but give me a chewy anyday! Favorite Food: I really like scrambled eggs, and I get them once in awhile!!!! Favorite Walk: around the lake, on warmer days i get to run around in it but not to long mom says, I got a bactirea infection once. Best Tricks: Right now Sitting up is one of my best i think! Arrival Story: My mommy wanted a puppy so badly, she was searching EVERY WHERE (she even got scammed) Finally she went to an animal adoption site, and saw my picture my name used to be skylar, the next day she came to see me with all of my brothers and sisters, we were all playing and being crazy, I walked right up to her and licked her leg, she picked me up and kissed me, and it was love from then on. She brought me home 2 days later and I have loved her EVER since. Bio: Mommy says I could be a handful, we do a lot of training, and a lot of running, she says if we don't I could get into trouble, and since I dont want that, I do what she says. I am stubborn at times, but I always mean well, I'm still learning. I love to swim, but bathtime is for the birds, you can keep that, but I have very dry skin, so mommy says it's needed so I am not always itchy, I still hate it, cant convience me. Im very smart, people are impressed with me, when they meet me, because I am so well behaved, and I listen so well, mommy is proud, she tells them how hard we work, and how some of it, really is just how I am, that makes me feel good. I dont get a lof of treats with my training, because I tend to put weight on fast, but I love the special attention and the extra play time, after a "session" (thats what my mommy calls it). I like to rip things apart, usually just paper, but if we're outside, and I find something I tear it apart, but I dont eat it so mommy doesnt get to upset about it, she says she'd rather see it in pieces on the floor then upsetting my belly. Even though seeing it in pieces on the floor isnt her favorite either.
I love herd, so Im always herding whom ever I am running around with outside, every one finds it funny.
My sister, who is a cat, has really become my friend, we play every day, she cleans me, and rubs against me, Moochie is my bestest friend. I love her. The other one, though..shes mean, I dont like her. But thats ok cant be everyones friend I guess. Forums Motto: im the love bug! I have lived in New Jersey now for a few months, and it's pretty great, I made 2 new friends Blitzen and Rosie, they are golden retrivers that live next door, Blizten is a little crazy and Rosie is an Older girl, I really like her she is sweet and their mommy loves me, she always tells me how cute I am. We have been staying with my daddies parents, and all of their cats! My sisters have been staying in my mommy and daddies room they are to afraid to come out, I miss them mommy says I will see them saturday, for the first time in months, because we are moving one more time to our new house! she said I am going to have a big backyard to play in and I wont have to be on my leash all the time anymore, I am excited about that! Ive never had my own back yard, In north carolina we had a doggy play area that was fenced in, but I had to share with the other dogs in our complex, but now this space is going to be ALL MINE! And i can run and play in it, whenever I want.
Mommy and daddy have been leaving me out of my crate during the day when they go out, and I have been really good, they are very proud of me. I still go in at night, and I really don;t want to be in there, I cry for them to let me out, but they say I am not ready because thats when the cats come out and roam the most and they aren't sure how I would be with that I think I would be fine, but they said not yet. Oh well.
So one more time I am moving, and mommy said when I move I have to go for another shot!!!!!!!! A rabies shot she really isnt make me want to move but she said it has to be done, for my benifit so i trust her but it doesnt mean i have to like it.
My mommy thinks i may be claustrophobic, i panic in the car or any small closed space... And do I mean PANIC! I start scratching at windows and people to get me out. We had a long long long car ride, 8 hours, and I was in the back seat...they put me there, and I wasnt having that, so i worked my way to the front, and eventually mom sat in the back with me the whole time, and she gets car sick back there (she is a good mom) The window has to be cracked my mom figured out, and I calm down a bit, she thinks its the noise and the extra air coming in, that calms me down, I dont know, i just know cars are for the birds...
I met my grandmom, she's a real nice lady she loved me the moment she saw me (i cant say i blame her i am pretty cute) She told my mommy how well behaved I am and for my age she couldnt believe it, I let mom take the credit made her feel good.
Now they tell me we're going to be taking that drive AGAIN! but this time my sisters are coming to, and all of our stuff? they call this "moving" I move around every day, and we dont take everything with us. They say I am going to be a Jersey boy? whatever that means, all I know is ill be closer to those nice people again, they give me lots of treats, so I am all for this "moving".
So today my mommy took me to the dog park, and i loved it, i ran with the big boys and played just as rough, i ran faster than most of them, everyone there was very surprised by my speed even my mommy she has seen me run but not long distance, and she never saw me run with bigger dogs. It was so much fun, i cant wait to go back!! Usually my mom takes me to Day camp 2 days a week but she says money is tight so today we went there instead which is fine by me either one is fun! All the people were really nice to me too, they all said how cute and beautiful I am. which i said
"i know" too but they didnt understand.
If you have dog parks near you, you should get your mommy and daddy to take you! IT WAS GREAT!
