So I just finished the celebrity pet quiz!! Guess who I am....
Wow, your dog is Madonna!
Madonna
American Queen
Come on, let's just face it: We are living in a material world, and Prete is a material girl. So go ahead and thank your lucky stars—Prete is the one and only Madonna!
Always desperately seeking attention, Prete is multi-talented and savvy, not afraid to get her paws dirty and experiment with new methods of getting into the groove in order to reach her peeps. She commands respect everywhere she goes, a sophisticated traveler who insists upon the best—and more often than not, she gets what she wants. Appearance is everything for your true-blue diva and while her look may change as often as the Pellegrino in her water bowl does, her commitment to exercise is unwavering. Prete's in tip-top shape, which makes her age in pet years a non-issue. Despite the hard fur and the no-nonsense approach, she's a softy when it comes to her devoted owner. It's fair to say that Prete is, yes, crazy for you.
I always knew I was a star!!

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday! I would get excited in the weeks leading up knowing that the day would come. As I slept and Santa brought presents and placed them gently under the tree I would dream of the wonderous surprises that waited for me beneath the layers of beautiful colored paper.
The next morning I would wake to sounds and scents that would bring a smile to anyone's face. A glorious breakfast where all my family came and sat with me eating sausages, bacon and eggs. I would sit gazing upon the mouth-watering bounty and asking in my own way for my special treat. Although the rule was always no... I always would get at least one tidbit in my bowl.
After breakfast and the family leaving for a while to go to mass all would return and sit around the room. The presents would be sorted and handed to each respective owner and I would patiently wait. Wait for the moment I dream about all year round as they read the numbers from the packages Santa had in store for them. You see Santa in his infinite wisdom determined that children open their presents way too fast... so he concocted an ingenious way to slow them down. Instead of names upon the paper he would put a numeric code that represented something about them, whether it was a birthday, a middle name or something even harder to guess. The kids would then have to work out the code to be able to open their giffts working together as any good pack should. This always gave me time to get some extra rubs and snuggles which each of them as they sat around pondering the papers sitting in front of them.
Then code broken they all gathered cameras and packages in hand for carnage of paper and boxes that commenced moments later. Then I knew finally it was time. Mommy would give me my first package, holding it toward me and saying "get it"... then bliss!! The paper gripped firmly in my mouth I tear and rip hearing that indescribably wonderful sound as the paper shreds from the special surprise beneath. A frisbee, a treat... but the joy... the joy of unwrapping each and every gift is just amazing! I make sure to take the treasure that lay inside and walk it over to my bed or kennel and place it there.
Then quickly I seek out the next one as mommy flubbers trying to open her present. I sniff and hunt looking for my next prey, my next present. She soon realizes her present will have to wait. She calls me again and the glee of shredding continues.
The sheer joy of opening my gifts would make me smile for days and then I would have great new toys to play with. How could anything every beat Christmas!
********************************************** **********************
So there is one flaw in Christmas though... there are only a finite number of presents to open. One year I tore through my packages with astounding speed and finished long before the family had completed theirs.
I hunt and sought my next present... waited for mommy to call my name but nothing. The family obviously needed my help so I ran to the pile of present and picked one up myself and began opening it. Uncles called and "No's" could be heard. I stopped and began walking around the room and helped each person open their presents too. I am such a good girl ;)
Needless to say every year after that one there were always enough presents from Santa and the family to last me through all of their opening!
