Arrival Story:
i was up north at my cottage and i had been wanting a dog for a very long time. we ended up going to the local hunting store which had 'puppy saturdays' and i wanted to take a look at the puppies while my parents shopped. i looked around at all of the dogs, staying mostly at the australian shepherds, when i passed a sign saying 'ozark mountain feist pups'. i had never heard of the breed so i walked over for a look. i got to the pen and most of the puppies came over to jump up at me and lick me, but one was just sitting in the middle, watching everything going on around him and wagging his tail. i watched him and as soon as he looked at me, he walked over and licked my face and i knew i had to have him. i showed him to my mom who said 'absolutely not' and pleaded with her for a little while but then gave up. she wouldnt budge. later that day after getting home my mom and i got in an argument over something i didnt do and long story short she went back and got the dog for me because she felt bad. his papers read Elvis as his name, but i changed it to Bruno, it fit him better, and weve been inseperable ever since.

Bio:
Bruno is by far the smartest dog i have ever had. he was house trained within 2 weeks and knew all basic commands after a month. he has a great temperment and personality too. he is pretty calm most of the but can get really energetic when you play with him or he sees a squirrel, which i think is great. he doesnt ever get himself in trouble either! [well except when the cat smacks him and bruno uses his 'outside voice'. lol]
