Arrival Story:
Prince's daddy was Alaskian Husky/Wolf. We got Prince's dad King as a rescue. Before we could get him fixed he got our dog Sadie pregnant. She had two pups and then a few months later she died tragically. She was an escape artist and one time when she got out just to run around, one of our neighbors had put out anti-freeze and sardines for the cats (we had a cat lady on our street)not the way I would have handled it. Anyway, Sadie got into the stuff and the vet couldn't save her. So Prince and Buck lost their mom.

Bio:
In 2005 King died of cancer it was totally horrible. Their wasn't a whole lot that the vet could do, but make him comfortable. He always had little cyst like things on his back and the vet said as long as they didn't get bigger that they should be fine. Well, he got one in his nose. It caused bleeding and snot to run out his nose all the time. They missdiagnosed for a while, cause when it started it just looked like allergies. Poor guy. As it turns out his son had the exact same cancer and within 1 year we lost them both. My husband was devistated. We try to move on, but we always remember the ones from before with fond memories and a little sadness. King was 12 when he died and Prince was 11. This is very hard to even write. So, I will leave it at that as the tears are blurring my vision.
