i was walking down the street and i saw a puppy walking behind me, and i turned around and walked to her and she backed up, it seemed like she was afraid to come to me, but she finally did! then i noticed that she had markes on her head. I started to think that she was abused & thats why she was afraid to come to me. I tried to pick her up so i could carry her home but she made yelping noises,so i stopped. I had to get her to follow me home, i walked to a petstore and bought some food and i showed the food to her and she followed me home! When we got home i fed her and she acted like she hasnt had food in a week. the next day i went to the pet store and bought her a food & water dish. I also bout her a dog bed,but she slept with me the first couple night until she felt safe! 3 days later i took her to the vet to get her shots, and he said she was very sick and had kennel cough, and they were gonna put her down but i said NO! i wanted to help her get better. Every night i prayed for her, every day i went to the vet to see her, then a couple weeks later she was better! she got her shots and came home with me. She was 3 months old. and we have had a great life since she is 2 years now and i want to breed her,but i can't find another akita. she was a full bread akita so i want her puppies to be full bread also! alot of people may not belive this story but its true.
