I was jus talkin' wif my sweetest ever girlpup, Gretta, about how the peeps are usually home for two days wif us pups, and then they disappear during the days for a long time, and then they are home two days wif us, and then they disappear during the days for a long time, and then they are home wif us for two days . . . and on and on like this until Christmas and snow and vacation! But Gretta made a good notice about there bein' an extra day shoved in there recently where the peeps were wif us three days instead of jus two. I can only count to three, but I am out of rhythm now. Lexie said it was jus a nomoly and that I should not expect more than two days wif our peeps in the house in a row. She also said that days have names, but I am sure she is jus messin' wif me again. Yesterday she said it was twos-day, but today isn't threesday and tomorrow isn't foursday, so I am onto her.

The squirrels are going monkey-poo over here. (I just learned that term, monkey-poo. 4th child said it and he is uber-cool, so now I am using it.) Lexie says the squirrels do this every fall, but I am smart enough to know that it is summer, not fall, so something is amiss. Must be another nomoly.

It is getting dark outside at different numbers as well. Used to be a number 900 on Mom's light-uppity clock when it got dark outside, but now it gets dark at 730. I watched and the clock still makes it to 900, but it is way past dark by that time. Maybe her clock is broke. Nomoly? Maybe.

I noticed the darkness, too...The shorter stick on the wall is almost at the 8 when it gets dark now and I think it's time to go to bed! BOL! This always messes me up.

I don't like the change in the light! It makes my playtime outside shorter!

OMD! You are sooper dooper smart and observerant Buddy. Ernie had been noticing the squirrels be acting speshully CRAZAZY lately too! They are hanging out in the grass, like they is lookin' for stuff. And today, one was just standing in the middle of the road. On his hinder legs. Just standing there while Mama drive right at him! And them squirrels multiplied lately too! I think they is going NUTS! Totally Monkey Poo in the vernerackulars of the 4th child!
