Do you like my new turtley background? I wanted to chase them at first, but now I am gettin' used to havin' them around. Mom put them on my page and at first they were walking all over the place - behind my photos and under my Voki and everywhere by my diary and everything! I cud hardly read my own page, so Mom snuck back into my codes and changed the word 'transparent' to all sorts of different colors to try them out. They were all pretty loud, especially 'gold' and 'blue', but she finally settled on this here 'cream' scheme that I told her to keep. It's all about hatemail or somethin'. She spelled that wifout the vowelley letters so it looked like html, but I know that's wrong. I am not that silly.

Tomorrow is Memorial Day and Dad said he is gonna grill meat on the back patio for us and for Oma, Opa and Uncle. I will be on the back patio all day long. Wish me luck. I better get some sleep so I can be alert for patio grilled meat duty tomorrow. Dad is already sleeping and making deep-woods bear noises. Sounds like a mating call or sumthin', but Mom says it most definitely is not. I hope I can get some rest with all that noise he's makin'!

My Dadda do noise like dat when he sleeping. Momma go to guest room, so her won't suffocate him wif piddow. Hab a gud day on the back patio and stay bery 'lert for gwilled meat duty. Dat are most 'portant job of all - protect da MEAT!!!!
