Almost an Only Pup

Lexie almost got smacked by a car this afternoon. She is just fine, but we all got a scare. It happened so fast! You can read Lexie's diary to get the full scoop. I'm glad it all turned out okay. I will never complain about a leash. I wish Mom hadn't left the double leash at Opa's house. Uncle was still there and he brought it back to our house when he drove home. He lives close to us.

Mom was gone all weekend and I missed licking her toes before bed. I think they taste really good, especially when she doesn't take a shower before bed. If she takes a shower, they just taste kinda plain - maybe a bit salty, but if she doesn't take a shower, they have lots of neat flavor to them. I think tonight she is taking a shower though. I missed her toes for two nights so I will lick them anyway and it will taste good because it has been a while. I wish Mom would go take a walk out in the garden barefoot before bed after she takes her shower. I think I'll go ask her to do that.
