Mom is house sitting and cat sitting this weekend for our good friend, Beth. I am not allowed to come. There are two cats there and Beth wants to come home to see them in the same good shape they were in when she left. And Lexie tells me that while schnauzers have "nails," kitties have "claws," which are significantly more sharp. So, what this amounts to is that I won't be cuddling up with Mom this weekend. It's just Dad and I in that huge bed - whooohoo!!

But wait . . . someone's gonna feed me, right? And someone's gonna "take" me outside to do my business, not just "let" me outside to hopefully do my business, right? And I get paid to do my business, remember. Nothing is free in this life. Plus today is Lexie's Gotcha Day and we haven't had cake nor Frosty Paws yet. Who's gonna take care of that? I think I need to talk to Dad.
