Arrival Story: Not long after Brady passed away a woman I work with came in and said that she needed to talk to me about a dog. She said her neighbor found a dog near the interstate & really needed to find a home for it... I asked what kind she said "poodle," then I asked what color and she said "black" - DOH! Still being depressed about Brady I just said if she could find another home for it that would probably be best. But she said that the lady said if we weren't interested she was going to take him to the Humane Society. The woman I worked with said that she wouldn't let them put him to sleep that she would have them call her before that happened, but I would nver trust that. That evening after work John & I went over to her neighbors and met him & took him home for good! Uh, I hear I'm getting a sister... I'm not quite sure what to think about this yet. Mom & Dad are telling me I'm going to have to be on my best behavior & show her how it's done around here. But I also overheard them saying that I can't sit on the bench by the table anymore with them because she won't be able to because she'll be too big - That is not MY problem! But I'm excited I'll have someone else to play with! I'm sure she'll have a page soon. I'll let you know how it goes.
Wednesday was my graduation! I took an 8 week course at PetSmart in Beginning Training & Opedience. It wasn't easy, but Becky my teacher said I did so good! I will have to remember to post some of my pictures.
Saturday Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, & I went to the Purina Incredible Dog Challege. There were SO many other dogs there! It was kinda hot, so we didn't stay that long. I bet being in that show is fun, they all look like they are so proud.
Sunday we (me, Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Taffy, & Snoopy) went to the Dog Park USA Dogster Meet up in St. Charles, MO. I met so many other cool pups! Georgie & Jackson's mom made us some of the BEST treats and cookies I've ever had! I wish we had a dog park closer to where we live...
