CGC!

August 29th, I passed my Canine Good Citizen test at the SchutzHund club. I have been practicing for the past 6 weeks at the local kennel club and take the test tomorrow there. I am curious to see if I pass there, as I hate to have a stranger pick up my feet... The other stuff is a piece of cake! We'll see:)Woof

Its my Birthday!

Wow! A year old today...it is cool outside, mom took Kacie and me for a walk. We had turkey necks for dinner and I got a new orange hyperflight frisbee for my special gift. I also got a hedgehog that rattles and squeaks. Kacie loves it, so I do too! We play tug with it to see who can get to play with it. I am about 85 pounds and 27" tall(at the shoulder). I have really long legs! Well, back outside to play, love the cooler weather~woof!

I'm nine months today!!

Add another month to my age. I am acting like a big girl now and trying to herd clover, kacie and anyone else who will let me! I feel great, the pano has subsided and other that this hot humid weather, I am having a great Summer finally! Mom& Ryan took us to the stores on Sat. and I was very well behaved, didn't act agressive and when people approached, I just sniffed them. Way better than last time when I put my fur up and growled...And it was dog adoption day at both stores we went to so lotsa doggies and activity going on all around. Kacie backed out of her collar, though, giving mom a huge scare. Luckily she and Ryan grabbed her by her scruff and held on til she could get her leash around her. Dad had loosened her collar, we only wear them when we go away and it was too loose! Lesson learned: check collar for snugness!!

I feel good!

Oh, today I feel like a pup again! I ran, and played and harassed Kacie and Clover, just like I use to! I hope the Pano is gone and I will feel good tomorrow. Mom didn't give me any pain med this am as I was feeling better last night and she wanted to see how I would do without Ascriptin, and give me a break from it. So far so good~Woof, the dog days of Summer are here though and I have been in the pool getting wet and cooling down. Mom even took me for a short walk tonight after the sun set, my nose was sooo busy, and I pulled just like a dog that hasn't been walked in a while~WOOF!!

Well today I am feeling better, we went for a walk for the first time in TWO weeks!! I pulled a bit as I was so excited. I think with the supplements I have been given, plus the yogurt, raw food and time(slowing growth) I am finally in a better way...
It is so hard for a puppy with energy and Kacie for a playmate to slow down and take it easy! But I will. By the way, yesterday I got stung by a bee on my hurting front leg, on my paw. More pain! It didn't swell up very much, but Mom was keeping a really good eye on it anyway.

I don't feel good today

I am only 8 months but I feel old today. I am going through growing pains in my legs(panosteitis) and it hurts! I have been lying around all day and have'nt eaten much. I hope this doesn't last long! Kacie, my running mate is so bored with me and she doesn't understand why I am not playing.
