Ooh, boy! Mom was sewing away and yesterday she woke me from a snooze, was all excited, blah, blah, blah, food? I don't hear the word FOOD! Aww geeez, she is putting a vest on me, something about sooo cuuuute, darn, doing my hair, uuuupp, she is getting the cheerios and the camera! hmmm, I'm not all that gunho on having my pictures taken right now. I let her know it too, just look at the grumpy look on my face, hmph!
Anyway, Happy 4th of July FRIENDS!

It didn't seem like home

Booyy what a week I've had. Something happened to my human pal on Sunday, mom & dad whisked him away, he looked like he couldn't even walk. After a while mom came back to walk us and to get some food for herself. She told me & Jazzie to not be too sad, Andrew was in the hospital, it might be his appendice. That all sounded greek to us. She said she would be back as soon as she could. She came home late, very tired & teary, the next day she was off again. The days seemed long, our granny came by to play with us & walk us, dad would come home after work to feed us & walk us ... but then he would leave... the house was soooo empty, mom would come home to tuck us into bed. My little pal, where is he?? days seemed like forever. Mom & dad looked very sad, quiet & tired. On Saturday, mom looked a little happier, she was making welcome home signs, she told us that my buddy would be coming home from a place called the hospital. On Sunday the door opened, I heard my pals voice!!! He is home! he is home!! let me out, let me out, my dad picked me out of my pen and Jazzie too, we ran to my buddy and kissed him all up, we were soooo happy to see him at home. We had a great day with the family, it felt like home again. Glad you are back my lil pal.

A guy needs a break ....

Okay, so it's been two months since my lil sister arrived. Hmmm, at first it seemed fun, but to tell you the truth she can be sooo annoying!!
See, I'm busy sniffing in the backyard, you know looking for clues, sniffing who's snuck in on my grass turf. I'm busy, she comes up and wants to play bite, she pulls on my beard and doesn't know when to stop. If I have my leash attached to my harness she puts the leash in her mouth and drags me here or there, the NERrrrVE!!
Another example, when mom gives her a flossie, I wait until she has mushed it up some and then I come by and swipe it, can you believe she starts barking at me!! tipping mom off !! that I'm up to no good. Mom comes over and gives it back to her, mom gives me a flossie to chew on but I want Jazzies', so I take the chance again and wait till she has nawed on the flossie and swipe it from her, hopefully mom will be busy doing something and won't hear her barking.
Mom throws the ball, I catch it, but Jazzie then fights me and gets it out of my mouth!! Grrr, it's mine, I'm giving it to mom. Go find your own balls.
Annoying isn't she??? Lil sisters!!! baahhh humbug!!
