Arrival Story:
I was on pet finder looking at the classified adds for Pa when I saw an Ad for this little guy in the same town I live in. So I emailed the for more Info. The lady quickey emailed me back to tell me more about him. I turns out this little guy is a puppymill survivor. For most of his life he was in a small filthy cage, unloved and used as a breeder. Well , the puppy mill was busted and he was conficated and sent to a rescue in PA (he's originally from Arkansas). I don't think he was born at the puppy mill because he's not afraid of people and does take well to spoiling. What I think is that at one time he was someones pet and he was either stolen from his original family or his original family was unable to keep him and this puppy mill somehow got their hands on him. So be very careful.... if for some reason you can't keep your dog have it spayed or neutered before it goes to it's new home ... A puppy mill has no use for spayed and neutered dogs ....and try to learn a little about the person before you let them take your pet you know it's going to a good home... and not a puppy mill.....and when looking for a dog go to a breeder not a petstore...90% of puppies in petstores are from puppy mills and have health problems....if people would not buy from petstores the puppymills would not have a place to sell dogs and would have to close.

San has interdigital cysts between his front feet which could be the result of living in a puppy mill and only having wire to stand on. Other than this he seems to be really healthy. He doesn't know how to play yet and doesn't know any basic commands such as sit or come, this is another result of the puppymill. Dogs from puppy mills don't get a chance to play and no one ever takes he time to teach them anything. These poor puppy mill surivors are not kept clean and are not shown any love. they are kept in cramped cages with other dogs. Sometimes the other dog they are with dies and is not removed, so the poor dog has to live with a dead dog in their cage. If you do a search on puppymills you will see that all of this is true. It's discusting and needs to be stopped.
