Arrival Story:
He was found in a school carpark and had been hit by a car. I fostered him and soon got too attached and kept him.
Bio:
I decided to take him on his first visit to a different park. We walked through the park and went to the beach, he loved the sea. It made me smile watching him chasing the waves. After a while we headed back over the bridge to the park again . Then I lost sight of Doug, I didn’t worry too much as I guessed he had walked on a little further around the corner and was waiting for me like he often did on walks. I walked on and called him but could not see him. As the hours passed I became increasingly concerned, nobody had seen him. Four hours had now passed. I went to the beach again , calling his name, still expecting him to come bounding towards me any minute. I crossed over the bridge again towards the park and then I saw him. No it couldn’t be, it cant be, was that my Doug lying on the train tracks? I ran as fast as I could and climbed through a hole in the fence onto the tracks. I ran towards him and fell to my knees, crying uncontrollably. My darling Doug was dead. He had squeezed through a hole in the fence and been hit by a train. My best friend had been taken from me forever.
