Arrival Story:
Mama is a Chihuahua lover, but one day she became the proud mama of a little Chug boy! Well, he had traits of Chihuahuas and Pugs and is not quite like any other pet so long story short, through one of the Chug group she belongs to she found my litter of chugs and picked me to be her very first Chuggy girl so PJ can have someone he really relates to!!!! Piper Joy's parents are two Chugs, as opposed to one Chi and one Pug, like PJ.

Bio:
Last week we took Piper Joy to the vet because she was acting not interested in food. They gave her an IV because she was becoming dehydrated and did tests. Thursday March 27 she was back at the vet to repeat the tests because she was somewhat more interested in food but not enough. They asked us to transfer her to an emergency vet because she needed constant care to stabilize her for inevitable surgery. They had seen a mass on an Xray. On the morning of March 30, 2008 at 2:00am I got a call no dog lover wants. It was the emergency Vet Hospital letting me know they had been able to stabilize her for surgery but then they also found out what was wrong with our precious Piper Joy. She had found some foreign object to swallow and it literally tore her up from the inside. There was just nothing more they could do as our precious girl was suffering with literally dozens of holes throughout her intestine and peritonitis. Her daddy is taking this especially hard as she was his little shadow. A real daddy's girl! We all love her so much and will miss her terribly! We will see you at the Rainbow Bridge, Pie-pie, and you truly were our Joy!
