well, my parents took me to the vet only to discover that i have heart worms! how could this happen? i'll tell you how it happened - my mom had a baby and since then she has forgotten to give me my heart worm pills. but i can't hold anything against the lil guy - he's so cute and i can tell that he loves me so much. he likes to pet me and he loves it when i lick his face.

anyway, i had to spend 2 nights at the vet without my family - i was so sad, but i know my family was really sad too. since the treatment began, i have to live inside the laundry room b/c i can't get too excited (which don't get me wrong, it's a huge laundry room so i can't complain--plus it's air conditioned so that's even better!) i have to stay contained until at least july 19 when another heart worm test is run - part of me hopes that the vet says i have to stay contained b/c i know as soon as they get the ok my parents will put me outside again----and it's so hot here in south louisiana in the summer time!

i'm just looking forward to being able to play frisbee again and go for walks again. being sick is no fun, but if it means i get to live inside for a little while, i'll take it! woof woof!
