Where has the year gone..

Wow can't believe it's my woofday hope my mom makes me a cake. It's been so long since I have been on dogster I miss all my dogster peeps. I hope the rest of this year turns out better than the first part. Earlier in the year I hurt my front leg and was in a stupid cast for several weeks. I kept chewing it off and it really made mom mad hehehe. The had to replace the cast 4 times but I'm all better now. Then the end of August I was running in the backyard and got to close to the camper and caught my side on the leg and tore open my side. Had 20 stiches inside, 20 stiches outside and 5 staples. Everyone kept calling me the Nike dog cause I have a big check mark on my side. The hair has grown back and it's almost gone. It's been a ruff year for me. I've spent way to much time at the vet this year they know me as soon as I walk in the door. Anyhow hope all you pups are doing good. Love Gracie

Feeling better...

It's been awhile since I've written and just wanted to let everyone know that I getting better. Thanks to Harmony at Harmony's Health Hut and telling me about Syn-Flex, which is a liquid glucosamine. I've been one it for a month now and mom can't believe the difference it has made. I'm back playing frisbee and having a good time. I still once in awhile limp a little when I first get up but mom says she is the same way BOL.. Thank you for all your prayers...

Good News

I got a second opinion this morning from a surgeon and she felt it's not OCD. When I was a pup I ran into a tree really hard plaing frisbee and the vet fells what the other doctor saw was probably from that. She thinks maybe it could be the early stages of athritis. They put me on that Rimadyl and he also wants me to take supplements of Glucosamine and Chondroitin. I have to go back to x-rays again in 6 weeks so they can compare them. I'm suppose to limit my activities. I heard mom and the doctor say something about no Frisbee and I tell you what they must be crazy if they think I will give up my frisbee. I also heard mom tell dad to hide all of my frisbee but if it takes me forever I'm gonna hunt them all down. Bring on the big game of hide and seek I love a challenge. BOL!! Thanks for the prayers..

I had to go to the doctor YUCK..

You will never guess what my mom did today. We got up like normal and she got ready to go to work and she told me let’s go. Now I never get to go with her in the morning. It was a trick let me tell you. She made a stop on the way to work and LEFT me at the vet can you believe that the nerve she left me there. Anyhow she told me I had to have some x-rays she didn’t tell me they where going to knock me out. I’ve been having trouble with my right front leg and when I first get up I limp on it. I can walk on it and run but then when I relax I limp. Anyhow my doctor told mom that there is a suspicious spot on my shoulder area. He thought that from my symptoms he was going to find arthritis but he didn’t. He is thinking maybe its something called Osteochondritis. Anyhow now I have to go see another doctor in the morning for a second opinion. Mom says we can’t play frisbee that I have to limit my activities. OMD not play frisbee what are these people thinking. Keeps your paws crossed for me.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

I never dreamed when I joined that I would meet so many wonderful pups (and humans), I’m looking forward to 2008 with you all!! I just want to wish all my dogster pals and their families and Very Merry Christmas and hope that the upcoming year is a wonderful one for each and everyone of you. I hope you get lots of pressies!!!!!!!!!

Trouble

I got into trouble last night. Mom and Dad where watching TV and not paying attention to me. That was their first mistake. Anyhow I was lying on the couch bored so I snuck under the tree and found ones of my Christmas presents. Now I was careful and only picked out mine so what is the big deal. I went ahead and tried to be quite while opening to sneak a peak and mom yelled at me. She took all my presents and put them up on the shelf. Now she knows I love my presents she should have never left them there to tempt me. BOL!!! Oh my how am I ever going to make it to Christmas I’m so worried that something might spoil ya know. Don't tell her but I thinks its a stuffed bear.

I had entered a picture contest in one of my groups ~~~Fancypants Cafe~~~ and guess what I tied for 1st place for my turkey picture. Arooooooo I’m so excited. What a good day this has been.
