Arrival Story:
My mommy had wanted her own dog for a while, and down the street my doggy mommy had gotten pregnant by a stray lab mix. When we were born she'd come down and play with the us and help watch us. When my doggy mommy had her litter, she fell in love with the little black sausage of a puppy. I looked just like a little pot-bellied piglet, she'd say. I was 'so cute!' My old owners weren't very good owners at all and seperated us from our momma at a pretty early age. They kept my doggy mommy in the house while we were outside in a pen. Mom'd come over while they were gone and bring us out for fresh air and exercise and grew very attached to me. She begged her parents to let her have me, and they finally gave in, even though her dad wasn't crazy about the fact of me being a pittie. She knew the condition we were living in and quickly brought me home for fear of me getting sicker. It's a good thing she did bring me home, because one of my brothers soon died. All of us had parvo and I was sick for a while, but luckily I pulled through. I'm not sure what happened to my siblings, but hopefully their living better lives and pulled through like I did. Her dad quickly got attached to the me and now wouldn't trade me for the world, and, of course, neither would my new mommy. I'm her baby and I'm wrapped around her little finger!

Bio:
I was born with my back legs dislocated, and my mommy didn't know about it until I was about a year old. I've had to have surgery twice on my right knee because the first time I ran on it and it got messed up again. I need to have surgery on the other leg, too, but she doesn't know when she'll be able to get me surgery, as it is quite expensive. She bought me for $75, and I've turned into the 'expensive mutt' lol. But they love me to death! I'm her baby!
