Week 11, 12, & 13

Pretty uneventful last few weeks. Just doing the normal day-to-day: walks, runnin, fetching in the yard. But looking forward to this weekend because I am getting a new playmate! A 1 1/2 year old, 10 lb Chihuahua mix from TN! I can't wait to meet him, and sniff him, and play with him! Hopefully we become best buddies and cuddle-bugs together! We'll see...

Week 10

Another family emergency has occurred... Thus my Norwegian Elkhound cousin has been visiting for a week! I am timid, but like to stir things up once in a while. So I have definitely grown in confidence now that she has been around. I also got to meet a couple of Cavaliers this past week. Can't wait to meet more next time!

Week 9

I got neutered this week... enough said. Other than that, I had a couple of doggie play dates. Still timid at first but slowly gaining confidence sooner in the visit. Soon it will only be one minute of being shy before I start playing with my playmates. Meeting up with some fellow Cavaliers this weekend, very much looking forward to that! I want to see what I might look like when I get older.

Weeks 7 & 8

Well, due to a family emergency, I got to live with my 1 & 1/2 year old cousin for the past two weeks! Boy is he fun!!! We seem to like the same toys. So I played with his matchbox cars and stuffed animals, and he played with my bouncy balls and chewy bones. We also both have a great time climbing stairs. Unfortunately a newly installed gate put a stop to that real quick. He went back home yesterday, so it is pretty quiet today. I hope more kids come to visit real soon!

Week Six

Well I discovered there is a second floor to this place for the first time this week! And bonus, the cat liter box is up there! My owner doesn't seem to like it, but I sure do- it seems to be full of yummy little bite size treats! I also found out I love cat food too! Whole bowl fulls at a time, to be exact! Could I really be a cat?????

Week Five

Back to the vet this week for more shots. Not so fun... but I get a treat at the dog treat store on my way home- so it makes up for it! I have gained 1.2 lbs since my last visit! Boy am I growing fast! I am trying to start a toy breed/puppy play group in my area. Hopefully some other pups will respond to the flyers I put up at the vet office. I need someone to romp around with stat! Had my second bath this week. How was I supposed to know digging in the dirt after a rain storm and then laying in it would make me so messy?!?! It's not like having a white belly automatically comes with directions on how NOT to get messy!

Week Four

Boy did I get dirty this week! So I had my first bath! I didn't enjoy it too much, but I just sat there and waited for it to be over. I tried getting out once, but realized the tub was just too high for little 'ole me. Getting my hair dried with the hair dryer wasn't too fun, but better than the bath 'cuz I got fed treats while I sat! Yum yum!

Week Three

It's my third week at my new home and I am so excited! I have a new fence up. So now I can run and run and run without forgetting about the busy road in front of the house. I also am visiting more with the neighbors across the street- 2 kitties, 3 dachshunds, and one mini beagle. I have visited Petco twice and the local doggie treat store once. All in all, it is pretty cumfy here!!
