Birthday: November 2nd 2002 Likes: Long walks, playing fetch with his rubber ball, playing with his dog brothers and sister,his doggie door so he can go outside in his backyard whenever he wants, and he loves for anyone to scratch the top of his head-pure heaven! Pet-Peeves: Thunderstorms, fireworks, small noisy children, strangers in his house, flies in his house (he hates the sound of the fly swatter), bathes, and nail clipping Favorite Toy: his rubber ball to play fetch and he also loves stuffed animals Favorite Food: Oh Boy-absolutely anything at all especially peanut butter and those yummy Frosty Paws! Favorite Walk: Through our neighborhood or anywhere else you want to take him where there's not too much traffic-he doesn't like loud cars and trucks going by Best Tricks: sit, shake and dances around in circles when it is mealtime Arrival Story: Jimi was a stray who ended up at a local high kill animal shelter. His days were numbered and the shelter staff was very excited when we asked to see him. Despite the fact that he was skinny, had horrible dandruff, shedding large clumps of fur, fleas, worms, and a mild case of mange, he melted our hearts and became part of the family that day. Bio: Jimi has a very distinctive "Woo Woo" noise he makes when he is excited. His lips make a little "O" shape and it is the funniest thing.

Jimi developed a seizure disorder when he was about 2 1/2 years old. It is quite mild-and he does not require medication. He has a seizure about every 4-6 months. His dog brother Bobby always alerts me with a very strange bark when Jimi is about to have a seizure. It is amazing how dogs look out for each other-and so sweet.******Update as of October 2008 Jimi's seizures started happening several times a week.
