Likes: long walks with great things to sniff, chasing squirrels, her doggie door so she can go inside or outside whnever she wants, belly rubs, playing with her dog brothers, curling up on the couch for a long nap, and lounging in the sun in the backyard
Pet-Peeves: other dogs who do not worship the ground she walks on, other dogs sniffing her bum, loud squeaky toys, and getting her face wet
Favorite Toy: It used to be her Tickle Me Elmo, but it got ripped apart, but she loves all stuffed animals
Favorite Food: peanutbutter! Frosty Paws,Chicken!! Blue Dog Bakery Peanutbutterand Molasses cookies, rawhide sticks, a nice medium-rare steak (in her dreams) or just anything that falls on the floor
Favorite Walk: all through our neighborhood everyday or anywhere else there are good things to sniff
Best Tricks: sit, shake and looking like a pretty princess with her front paws crossed
Arrival Story: Daphne came from a local high kill animal shelter. She was only a year old when I got her and had been in several homes already. She was terribly insecure when I adopted her and it took a while for her to feel safe and comfortable and not be afraid I was going to give her away. I realized she did better on a regular routine so she knew when meal times would be and when she would go for walks. With the routine and some basic obedience traing she has become a relaxed happy dog.
Bio: Daphne is a very smart dog. She knows a lot of words to the point that even if I spell "treat" or "walk" out loud she knows what I am saying. She is very eager to let me know if I get off schedule too-she knows her routine and likes to follow it everyday.

I was in a couple of homes before I lived with my mom-not sure where
Mom got me and we lived in Jacksonville Beach, Florida
now we live in a new house (with a bigger yard!) in Jacksonville, Florida
3. List 4 places I have been:
Sarasota, Florida to visit my gramma and grampa
and a bunch of small towns in between we got out for a potty break and to stretch our legs for the long drive.
4. 4 places I would rather be:
swimming in the ocean
playing on the beach
chasing squirrels in the woods behind our neighborhood
at the "treat bar"at Petco, helping myself to treats.
