indoors Arrival Story: Piper was a rescue that an ex-girlfriend had. When we broke up, she gave me the cat. Nardo arrived a year or so later as a companion for Piper when another ex-girlfiend dumped her cat on me. Bio: Piper was abused as a kitten, but aside from her attacking her own tail when she's mad you couldn't really tell. Edloe hates her, Nardo doesn't mind sharing space on the bed with her, and Frisky sometimes chases her for fun (and vice versa).
Piper woke me up at 02:00 on December 4, 2006. She had fallen off of the bed and could not move her back legs or her tail and was very scared. So was I. I got her in a carrier and took a cab to the emergency clinic where my wife met up with us.
The vet said she had an enlarged heart and it was throwing off clots. That's what had blocked the blood flow to her legs, maybe heperin would work.
It didn't. An hour later, I got the call. Her lungs had stopped, presumably from more clots, and she didn't make it. Forums Motto: Sanity is overrated The Last Forum I Posted In: My little kittybaby is gone I've Been On Catster Since:
